thejesseb
Y'all must have good jobs to be able to afford Hot Topic's international shipping. $65 for a brand new record, directly from the retail store? Yeeeeesh. and here I am getting mad when I have to pay more than like $6 to ship an LP jaxvinyl, CVHX and sergeantscruffy
tokimedo
I have all 3 pressings in front of me right now, the jacket is identical for all 3 pretty sure the black parts on the first press were different from the second, no? like it was matte on the first press then shiny on the second? am i crazy? tokimedo
To correct this: I don't think the first 2 are identical, I mean, there is the first with blurred edges(I think) then the second has like spot gloss over some of the black lined art. There is a difference. i guess im not crazy.
amaestre
Got mine today, was this supposed to be 180 gram vinyl? I got one at 180 grams and the other at 150 grams. Kinda strange...

No but it is supposed to be 100% kick ass. And it is. Enjoy. RowBearToe

Correct, pretty sure there was the spot-gloss on the black on the 2nd and 3rd pressings. My bad. The rest of the art is identical though. dansar
Just received my $64.49 vinyl today, in France. Looks beautiful, can't wait to be back from work to spin it! I want to get the greatest hits but I don't know if I care that much if the postage is so expensive.

TPS_PIMO
Can someone point out where the album art is pixelated? I dont see anything on mine.

+hecollec+or
I noticed it in the black edges on Travis's face, only after reading about it on this thread. It's barely noticeable, I was expecting big glaring blocking on everything.

Derek™
I noticed it in the black edges on Travis's face, only after reading about it on this thread. It's barely noticeable, I was expecting big glaring blocking on everything. That doesn't sound too awful. The only pixelated cover I own is the initial press of Finch's WIITB. And that was pretty horrible.
Brevity38
Just got this in the mail about 30 minutes ago. Whoever complained that the jacket is pixelated is being pretty ridiculous. You can't even tell. You have to look extremely close to see it, and even then its barely noticeable haha. It looks great. I'm grateful I have the opportunity to own this. Thank you Travis! travis
MikePortly
If you look close enough it's barely pixelated. I love the glossy embellishments though! Sounds and looks great as a record too. Now bring on the TOYPAJ repressing (with a splatter more like this) and Enema! CVHX
TPS_PIMO
Yea I could barely tell once I held it under very bright light and looked really close. Its not that bad really but I guess everyone has their own preferences.
Jesus Of Suburbia
Who cares if the cover is pixelated or not? As long as the record sounds great is what matters to me. I should be getting mine in the mail tomorrow, I can't wait!
jaxvinyl
Not referring to this release specifically as I don't think there's any legitimate issues, but I don't necessarily think it's ridiculous for someone to complain about album cover pixelation or any other real issue regarding the physical product. When you're paying $25+ (or $65 for the overseas folks) for a record these days, there certainly should be a certain level of quality control on the manufacturers part. Just my two cents... tokimedo, Shelby, ChardeeMacDennis and 2 others
SaulManella
I own the green pressing of The Artist In The Ambulance that's suppose to have a really pixelated cover and last I checked I'm still alive. circuit bored records and kjkenney
trichterg
I have my vinyl. Around 8 days to have it in my hands, in Chile. I paid 45 dollars in total (vinyl and shipping)
saxonviolons
No, but I am surprised that the cover is slightly pixelated. Got this today, took a GOOD look and didn't notice this at all. Not even going to check to see if you're right because: 1) I don't care 2) If I didn't notice it upon my initial look it's probably not relevant enough to give a shit 3) Parts of the cover are glossy, some parts are flat, just like the original CD, and I am totally stoked to see that kind of detail. The splatter on the record itself looks great as well. 4) Want to see a pixelated cover that you might actually have some grounds to complain? Go check out HT's first re-release of Thrice - The Artist in the Ambulance. I own it and the pixelated image sucks, but who cares, I'm spinning wax of a record I love that I didn't own before for $20. I have all 3 pressings in front of me right now, the jacket is identical for all 3 Do not have the original, but I have the 2nd pressing from HT and didn't even notice a difference. Honestly Travis, you're a dear to respond to these people complaining, but really I think the effort is useless as they are out of their freakin' minds. Welcome to the "Bitch about anything and everything" mentality that our society is becoming. Too many fucking brats in this world today. Hopefully the vinyl community never gets as bad as video gamers, they cry about every little thing. You can thank liberals for that! EVERYONE, no matter how insignifigant, has a right to complain and be heard! But honestly, the issue is more the "anonymity" of most of these complaining assholes. Nobody knows who they are, nobody will ever know, so they feel like they can just "like" a facebook page to make a statement, or mouth off wherever to anybody who will let them because they spent $25 (which is 3+ hours of mind-numbing work at the local burger joint) without having to be accountable for the shit they post. Amazing progressive society we live in these days... NoFxpunkguy, +hecollec+or and Alice in Chains
pushbacktosquare
The sleeve for the first press is different. The black ink on the 2nd and 3rd press is glossy, while the first press is full on matte. Not a huge difference, but the revised jackets definitely pop out a bit more. tokimedo
yeah, and travis corrected himself. i wasn't complaining, just pointing out i remembered they weren't in fact identical. billya
+hecollec+or
Bottom line... we have MT&TS on a sweet looking vinyl and didn't have to pay $65+ on ebay. All is well. Bring on EOTS! FueledByVinyl and ketchupnmustud
