Next up: VCMatch.com...find your record nerd soulmate.

Create a "VC Local" main thread to add to the 4 main ones. The sub-threads would be major cities. Anything specific to a city would go in there (extra concert tickets, ride shares, local record stores, promoting anything you want). When someone asks the question "I am going to ... and need advice on activities to do" they will be targeting the question at locals and also, the responses will be catalogued in an area-specific thread that will stick around for future use. It will also be very useful for the "I am going to this show, who from VC is going to be there and wants to hang out?" conversation. Look at how much more attention the turntable thread is getting now that it has it's proper place rather than being an overlooked sticky at the top of the main board. I would definitely add a "Metro Detroit" thread to the list of threads I read regularly. When mixed in with everything else, they just get pushed into the old thread abyss pretty quickly and forgotten about, though.

I was thinking maybe we could do a VC dropbox kind of thing, where we would all share tracks/albums... I mean, you can't download them, so it'd only be streaming and not stealing or illegally sharing.. And naturally, you wouldn't post anything that hasn't been released unless its cool with the artist. Maybe with each album we could have a pdf on where to buy the record, too? It'd be a cool way for a ton of people to be introduced to many different styles of music and bands they might never hear about? Would also be a good way for VC bands to get their music out!! Anyways, If you're interested, PM me your email, and I could send a link to a VC folder (you have to be invited) and we could get this shit started!

This show was pretty sick. They had about 25-30 7 inches sitting out. Most did not sell by the end.

Seattle was fucking awesome! Thrice`s setlist was similar to whats been posted. We got Kill Me Quickly, Phoenix Ignition, T&C and another song off of IOS that isn`t coming to me at the moment. O`Brother was great but Tanner was losing his voice. I picked up the last dream catcher made by Johnny and the second pressing of Garden Window. The played Lo, Sputnik, Machines 1 & 2, Poison and Lay Down.

Picked this up along with a bunch of other records in Seattle! Great timing for coming down from Canada. Seeing these guys play tomorrow night!

That was my thought as soon as I saw how far away the date was. Why do it on 420? People are just going to be high and lazy or forget altogether. Bad call.

I think AOF and attack in black should be easy to get. There were only 500 world I want to leave behind records pressed, and those are still easy to find, so with 800 red trees in existence now, I don't think the new pressing will be super tough to get. Thats my theory.
