Guest
I'm also in the anti-white vinyl movement. I ordered it with Prime, but my prime expired and I can't afford to get it again right now. Will it still ship Prime, or will they charge me for 2 day? Does anyone know?

tomfiend
why the white vinyl hate? Is it due to playback issues or purely aesthetics?
David The Gnome
why the white vinyl hate? Is it due to playback issues or purely aesthetics? I think there have just been a lot of albums pressed on white vinyl lately. It seemed like a good number of PO's in a row at least.

This. I don't think I've ever owned an all white record that did not have tons of surface noise or just sound sonically dull.
dreamover
White vinyl usually has more surface noise because it's a different compound. That being said, I have certain white records that sound better than other black records because every other part of the process was done with better quality control. So who knows how good this will sound? The real crime is that this record has no bonus tracks. Any reissue of The Moon Is Down should have included any and all of the following: 1. Vengeance Factor 2. Justice Prevails 3. Say It Ain't So I will laugh if this record is pressed with the "secret track", but I assume they're not that dumb. copelandkid

mmhmm
White vinyl is also just lazy. If you have a choice between white and any other color and you go with white, laaaaaazy.
vinylfilmaholic
That pressing of Alexi Murdoch "Time without Consequence" on white sounded great. If there was surface noise it was very minimal. I agree it's lazy but as long as it sounds good I'm fine.

It actually looks nice though. The same could be said about using helvetica as your album artwork font.
mmhmm
It actually looks nice though. The same could be said about using helvetica as your album artwork font. Occasionally it does. But the vast majority of the time it denotes a lack of creative thinking on the part of whoever is releasing something, I say.

I wish they had a few more songs in the vein of that!
