distinctlydustin
If I decided to record an album, I think my shitty voice would be pretty well on par with Mark McGrath's. I'm about as tone deaf as he is. Bundle this garbage like they do at walmart with four movies on one DVD: stick a Smash Mouth album with this, Sister Hazel, and Dog's Eye View. Some people will truly be happy to see this combo, and it will save them the trouble of having to track down each gem individually. You forgot Dishwalla. imaxcowboyx

mameeshkamowskwoz
Why do I love this album so much that I'm skeptical that you guys have ever listened to it? ChasHawk

mameeshkamowskwoz
Scary, huh? Only a tiny bit.
ChasHawk
Why do I love this album so much that I'm skeptical that you guys have ever listened to it? The entire time reading this thread, I was telling myself..."they have no idea that this album is a completely different genre of music". Shelby
Yeah this is legit. It's "funk metal" so you know it's good.
mameeshkamowskwoz
The entire time reading this thread, I was telling myself..."they have no idea that this album is a completely different genre of music". This is where I'm coming from... I accept that not everyone likes what I like, but I have a feeling that at least some of the people dissing it have never heard it and have only heard the shitty Sugar Ray albums that I wholeheartedly agree suck ass. Of those people at least one or two would change their mind if they listened to this album... but maybe not? ChasHawk
sergeantscruffy
"Mean Machine" is the best Sugar Ray song. There can be no debate.
freedumb
Sugar Ray is cool… and also apparently a tough guy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvjD0SkoFr0 Oops, I meant Mark McSugar Ray.
gutzonborglum
Oh I listened to this a looong time ago, when it was released, because I had a huge crush on Nicole Eggert. I still hold to my opinion. To each their own, though.
NapalmBrain
I've most definitely heard this album, and also retain my opinion of this never needing an lp release and my distaste in delay for new, interesting records as a result of releases like this crowding the line B-dosia
e*n*d*
"Hold your eyes" is a sexy funk jam that needed to be on wax for the dance clubs and my headphones. That justifies this pressing alone. But that price! Tack on a Shrinkie Dinx 7" and more MgGrath pube photos like on the cd booklet and maybe I'd pay that much.
zerohacker
Holy shit I just listened to this for the first time. I really like 14:59 when I was younger, and I had no idea that they used to be like a harder band.
runforcover
I can't stand PJ either, both them and the goo goo dolls are so derivative, such little variation in songwriting and unadventurous does nothing for me personally. But I did not like grunge much or the influence it had on pop music Jesus christ...what? You are not familiar with Pearl Jam's music if you think that. DecayToDeath
Jesus christ...what? You are not familiar with Pearl Jam's music if you think that. Yeah. Anyone who says they have 'little variation' has probably only ever heard "Alive" and "Jeremy" on the radio.
youspinmeround
Yeah. Anyone who says they have 'little variation' has probably only ever heard "Alive" and "Jeremy" on the radio. no code and yield after selling millions of albums was very varied.....but yes people think of pj as singles band*or at least most ofvthem*
NapalmBrain
I worked in record stores for 6 years I've heard wayyyyyyyyyyy too much Pearl Jam. I will consent Yield had some different songs and that I'm an overgeneralizing asshole because I heard way too much of them (Ten, Vs., and that stupid Into The Wild Soundtrack in particular). i just don't like Eddie Vedder ok >.> ChasHawk
