throwgncpr
mother of god, this album is incredible. Can't wait to see them tomorrow night!
bigbruise
I've given this thing about 10-15 listens, since Sunday night. I feel that it's incredible, like always the drums are killer. LLOV1, was the first thing I ever heard from these guys, and the drums are what stood out the most. Same with Peregrine, drums on there are lovely as well. Anyways, I don't really see any negatives about this record, they have used all the standard AC trademarks and added a little extra here and there. It's awesome. bigbruise
Sean, When you saw them the other day, how many bands opened for them? My buddy who is playing tonights show said they originally only wanted one opener. But now there is like 3, so I'm guessing a 2 hour set is out of the question. kas1985
Email with mp3 received today (as a non record club subscriber). Looking forward to giving this a listen tonight.

It's weird that, with all those albums, there have been different drummers. I'm glad they know how to choose them.
000000
Guys, this album. Is so good.
David The Gnome
ALRIGHT, FINE, GEEZ, I'LL BUY IT. Seriously though, I got the copy of Two Conversations that I won on the bay today and it's fantastic. I can't believe it took me this long to listen to TAC. Just put in my order with Graveface. Thanks for the info before, Derek.
Derek™
Of course. I'm still in love with this album. It's understandably a huge progression from Two Conversations, but I still think you'll really enjoy it. Not to sound too pretentious, but it really is an album for anyone who enjoys good, quality music. Can't wait for mine to show up in the mail. drds89
somethingvinyl
I love Two Conversations. I think it's my favorite AC record. I don't think it's their best but I love it because it's their most accessible work. Knowing where they came from to write those songs, I think it shows that this band could be a popular band if they wanted to write radio friendly music. But, they write what they want and seem to appreciate the attention they get for that. I respect it.I fell in love with them in 2000/2001. Probably one of my favorite bands who started near at the same time I was beginning college and continued to progress through my early 30's as I progress. drds89
almightyseancore
two conversations is also possibly my favorite. mare might beat it by a hair, but i can relate to the material on TC a lot. solid break up album. possibly my favorite break up record, next to cursive's 'domestica'. drds89
LLO is how I got introduced to A/C via the postrock byways...and the rest is history, fell hook, line and sinker for the rest, every last one. They opened my musical ears to many more bands i would have never checked out. I love Two Conversations. I think it's my favorite AC record. ronniegwilliams
At this point, Two Conversations is my favorite Appleseed record, but I've yet to listen to Illumination. Mare Vitalis is a close second. It's weird how similar all the drummers have sounded to one another, it's also weird that I've known the current drummer Nathan since he was a little kid. Crazy that we used to talk about how much we love Appleseed, and now he plays with them.
bigbruise
I was pretty much sitting right by your boy Nathan last night man, just KILLING it on drums. First time seeing them, i almost cried I swear. Fucking brilliant.
xxmartinxx
I wasn't going to buy it until I heard it since their last two releases didn't get repeated listens. I've been listening to the free stream and it's significantly better, so I ordered it. Might as well complete the LP collection.
shamrocks
one of my favorite bands, but i think this is a step below LLO, two conversations and peregrine, right there with mare and ring wars. still very good, just not earth shattering. ill have to revisit, but i may like sagarmatha more as well. Cpt. Cal
Just got my copy of 180g in the mail this morning. I'm awestruck.
deletedunknown
New album's great. Mare Vitalis has always been my favorite, though, with Peregrine following it. I ended up really liking Three Rivers from Middle State, but it's honestly probably something best left done once. The main thing I remember from Sagarmatha is Like a Locust. That song felt very different, but still loved the overall album. I am an unabashed fan boy, though. I'm really excited to receive the RC package with a "test" copy. Guest
Without a tracking number? i'm hoping so and mine appears out of the ether.
bigbruise
The Graveface instagram posted a pick up truck full of AC orders, you'll probably get a record before a tracking #.
000000
LLO got me into these guys, and really this might pass that album as my favorite of theirs. Can't wait for my copy to come in too.
cwhitmuzik
Without a tracking number? i'm hoping so and mine appears out of the ether. Yup, no number. randomly showed up, thought it was my best buy order.
Shelby
30 Degrees 3am is such a great track. Album's pretty excellent overall.
Shelby
Going back to the conversation about North Star Ordination earlier in the topic; the 7" version of the song is definitely different and an earlier demo now that I hear the final version. Album version is better.
