degenerex
Does the deluxe record have the regular inner hole or the bigger one, that require a 45RPM adapter to fit over the spindle? I ask this because I've bought 45RPM records from Matador that needed an adaptor to fit. It does not need an adaptor, it's a regular 12" hole. There's a joke there somewhere. azvd
Yep. The deluxe edition of the latest Interpol album needed the adaptor: http://ripyourvinyl.com/vinylrips/interpol-interpol-2010-matador-45rpm-2xlp-set-24-bit96khz-cd/ If I'm not mistaken, Matador included custom adaptors for those who preordered from them. derrickcook19941
Just got the cd of this in the mail...kinda lazy inside design. They printed the exact same credits listing on the back of the insert and under the tray. They could've at least put some cool image under the tray instead of just the same words/credits that are on the back of the insert

I worked at a record store right after that came out and we had bags of those adapters as promos. I always thought it was kinda random just having Interpol 45 adapters. jvphotoandvideo
12"s with 45 adapters. Fuck that.
derrickcook19941
And then with all the artwork they had for this album you'd think they would have sprung for a booklet and not just an insert for the cd
mcpherson123
I'm pretty sure all the money for this release went toward the deluxe LP.... and the other LP's.
derrickcook19941
Well I have the indie lp too, just saying feels lame that they didn't do a booklet

NG1991
Copped the last deluxe from my record store. Debating whether or not I want to snag the indie also. That blue is just so damn good looking.
heypeterman
That's pricey right? Like $3 more than originally from Matador? Better than eBay and morfiend is a solid dude.
morfiend
morfiend, member on this site, just got these in. http://lastrightsrecords.storenvy.com/products/1668822-queens-of-the-stone-age-like-clockwork-indie-exclusive-blue-cover Thanks for doing that, I appreciate it! The distributor I used sold them practically at retail, which is why they're like $5 more than what Matador was selling them for. I also purchased a regular edition with the red cover for myself and I'm very happy with it, sounds and looks great!
rickydenim
Picked up the deluxe at my local indie store for $50 Aud. As you have all said, def worth it. Sounds and looks amazing.
thievesdont
Yeah, you really can't complain about the deluxe. A lot of work went into that and it's just incredible. I've been listening to this over and over and I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy every song. Great album, glad they're back.
vc2020
My deluxe finally shipped... well shipping soon but same thing. I wish I got this last week but Amazon.ca keeps shipping music pre-orders late.
