vinylfilmaholic
Need to get this a.s.a.p. but that $50 is a little harsh. Might hold off until it gets cheaper.

russtcb
Grabbed this late last week. I'm not nearly as impressed with the 45rpm LPs as others seem. If anyone has the latest 180, 33 1/3 pressing and is on the fence, I'd say skip this unless you absolutely must have the bonus tracks on the 3rd LP. pushbacktosquare
I know the cream yellow ORG release is limited to /4000, but does anyone know what the Neon Yellow ORG release is limited to?
GradedOnACurve
I heard 1,000, but something tells me theres more...
burntwolf
I just listened to the my original clear press, ORG cream yellow press, and anniversary press back-to-back-to-back... I thought anniversary sounded best. Clear vs ORG wasn't night and day but ORG was better IMO. Anniversary is significant improvement over original press I'd say. I'd also say the Anniversary issue makes the German Back-to-Black w/ the 2 Albini mixes obsolete/unnecessary. I'll prob get rid of that one at some point. jtcohenour
Thanks for the info. I'm enjoying the anniversary pressing as well.
GradedOnACurve
Wife surprised me with this for my birthday after saying no presents this year. This sounds great. Will probably compare to my ORG but my bet this is definitely better. Sounds huge. I love DMM. jtcohenour

GradedOnACurve
I don't remember honestly. Even though she hates surprises I try to be unpredictable and get her a random gift when I can.

828321
I'm not sure why anyone would love DMM? The only true benefit is that most DMM lathes are in the hands of very competent people.
flood
ive heard a rumor that the DMM process is fucking miserable healthwise for the person doing it... i'd love to see some real stats on that
tonyfranciosa
so I've been playing this 2013 mix LP nonstop since last weekend and I think I'm starting to prefer it to the original. It takes an already nasty record and somehow makes it meaner and more intense. really nice job by Albini... if this had been what came out in 1993, it would have changed things as much as Nevermind did. the harmonies in the chorus of Heart Shaped Box were always my favorite part of the song during the live performances (thanks to Pat Smear) and this new version brings them out wonderfully. burntwolf
I agree that the 2013 mix is cool. I will prob listen to it the most now just b/c it gives the album a fresh and new take. Does anyone know which listing on Discogs is the 'mispress' w/ the original Albini mixes of Heart-Shaped Box and All Apologies? One of these days I am going to list it for sale if I can figure out which one it is.
