zeb_enjoys_vinyl
NICE! I have full faith that you disclosed that something was "seriously wrong with it" before selling it! I did... They didn't seem to mind... I think it was a pressing wide defect tho but no one else seemed to care as much as I did

psus2h
I believe he's referencing the Luca skip on the MOV pressing.
DecayToDeath
I believe he's referencing the Luca skip on the MOV pressing. Wasn't seafoam Triple Crown, though?
TheGhostOfRandySavage
Wasn't seafoam Triple Crown, though? Yup. He specifically referenced selling his seafoam because there was something wrong with it, then went on to say it was a defect with the whole press. I think psus2h is right and he's thinking of the defect on the MOV pressing, but maybe also had a problem with his. Who knows, though. psus2h
Yeah. Someone's all mixed up, LOL regardless I haven't heard of any issues with the TCR pressing. Perhaps the person with issues should try cleaning the LP.

cwhitmuzik
TCR pressing is great, MOV sounds slightly better from what I've heard from people with a better ear than i but a lot of the older black pressings have the "luca spot"
zeb_enjoys_vinyl
What happened was there was a constant WOOSH sound throughout the album... Both discs... I remember posting about it on here and someone else said it happened to them too

biodigitaljazz
I cleaned my Luca spot on my mov clear /2000 and it plays right through!
stokd
Snagged a copy of Pogolith, thanks dudes Fuck, I really want one but to ship it to Canada is absolutely ridiculous. *edit* It appears they've changed it since it first went up. Still not great, but way better than $30 shipping on a $2 booklet.
jhulud
Seems to be a new MOV pressing on Black. Oy vey. http://www.soundstagedirect.com/cgi-soundstagedirect/sb/ss_mb.cgi?storeid=*10aaa248a916d2410f53&ss_parm=Ada4a0b2fb78fcaa1380b93db15834663
marc32137
Not surprising. Doesn't MOV usually keep their releases in print for a while?

cwhitmuzik
Why is this weird? U.S. Variant is in print, now the euro one is
starjigga
speaking of MOV, was there a difference between the Triple Crown variant from the MOV one? I know MOV wasnt gatefold but was the Triple Crown one gatefold or not?

I know MOV wasnt gatefold but was the Triple Crown one gatefold or not? I didn't know that it wasn't a gatefold. I own the TCR version, but the differences I know are: - TCR was only $25-$30 - MOV supposedly sounds better (but I have no problem with mine) - TCR doesn't have the sticker affixed on the jacket - MOV has the 'Luca spot', which is a skip and supposedly is present on most pressings starjigga
throughbeingcruel
I found an MOV copy today for $49 and passed because the U.S. pressings are much cheaper, but I'm starting to second guess it.

psus2h
I still don't know how this is a new pressing. MOV has been pressing this on black vinyl since they released it. Am I missing something else here ?
