I snagged my copy at a Hot Topic on clearance in 2010 or 2011 with an also clearanced copy of Misfits “Static Age.” Solid day.

I'm not a tax advisor but yes claim a net 0, don't just not fill out the 1099. You will get a bill in the mail later with fees and penalties for being delinquent (that are possibly more than what you owed).

Did you read the article? The threshold has been eliminated for 2023. You can also fill out the appropriate form to offset the 1099. You cant claim a loss but you can claim a net of 0 to offset the 1099

Hey friends! So, this is a crazy thing - our band is doing our latest record on vinyl. I figured what the hell, I'll share it here. It's limited to 100 copies, 25 of which able to come as a deluxe edition with an alternate screen-printed cover. The records will be pressed by Dunk! Pressing in Belgium on Milky Clear with Rainbow Splatter, and the screen print is being done by A Thousand Arms. So, all the post-rock connections haha. We only have 8 of the deluxe editions left for purchase. You can check it all Glass Pony plays psychedelic, improvisational rock and roll. We have big influences from Oasis, Phish, Bright Eyes, Moe, the Cure, etc. We're a "jamband" but I don't quite think we fit the traditional mold of that. I am a big post-rock and metal guy, so our jams, while groovy and danceable, are often angsty and dark. I’ve put serious thought into this, and have decided against it only because it would then encourage me to buy even more 7-inches. If I limit it to stuff that is already large hole, it at least prevents *some* excessive spending…
