Couldn’t tell from your post if you’ve never listened to Lacing, or if it was just Never that you hadn’t checked out.  If you end up digging the full EP, I’d highly suggest trying out 2019’s Without, if you haven’t yet.  It’s pretty droney at times but its strongest tracks root is as my favorite Lacing release to date… though this EP is a pretty close second.  Copies of Without were silly-cheap a while back, too.

I keep all of Lacing’s tunes in rotation pretty steadily but I was obsessed with this EP when it dropped last year.  Easy scoop-up – had no idea vinyl was even in the works but I’m pretty pumped to score this.  Especially with that price and variant. 👌

I don’t, and I’ve been on here for over a decade.

We even have a sub-board that facilitates the sale of records.

Just in case it needs to be said, selling records ≠ flipping records.  The latter of which has had (and still has) a pretty negative stigma around these parts.

Someone on Reddit was saying that when the page was working, you could select the Deluxe listing and it would just pull up the option to select any of the variants?  There was also some “placeholder” text, apparently.  I’m very curious to see what the deluxe will actually encompass.

As soon as a single goes up and the album gets added to streaming services, it’ll be pretty quick to see.

I hope this new album is mixed a bit better than Villains was.  There’s some genuinely killer material on that record but the production really clips the balls on it.  I bet it’s amazing live though.

That price is way more in-line with what something like this should probably run, but I still don’t think I can scoop it up on the principle of it being a double 10” set.  Still perplexes me how someone determined that was the play.

This band has lost me so hard.  RTR was the last record of theirs I think I actually jived with.  Tough to accept that was 4 year ago.

With each passing release these last few years, it’s becoming increasingly obvious that they captured lighting in a bottle with Rot Forever. 😕

I own an original pressing, so I'm set, but this might interest some people who missed out.

Nice.  I only have a repress (clear) that’s served me well, but the extra bells and whistles in that thing – especially at $24 – sure is intriguing to me.  Not in love with any of the variants mentioned in the description but I’m sure I’ll settle on one when they go live.

We can thank our boy Lloyd for this update, I’m sure.  President and COO of VMP; he became VP of Discogs effective this morning.  I do think VMP’s quality has improved the last year or so, but their pricing has needed to fuck off for a while now.  Glad to see he’s wasting no time nudging Discogs in that direction as well.

How are you guys actually getting baited by Discogs scammers?

I understand that you have to be quick with a lot of those RSD exclusives, but even if you fly in and add something to your cart, and checkout in < 5 seconds... you can probably glance at the user profile that was created that morning, with no avatar, and 0 feedback, selling a record at a price that's a little too good to be true, and probably put 2 and 2 together before sending a payment over.  I didn't think that was too big-brain to piece together.

Guys.  There is no need to critique perfection here.  OP has an answer for every possible suggestion or question on this airtight system that’s been set up.

You can’t go wrong with enamel pins to start off with.

Also, good job seeing this through even if it meant waiting longer.  After 2-3 months of waiting, it kind of starts to feel like a blur whether it’s 4, 5, 8, or 12 months after ordering.  Few things are worse than waiting 3+ months for something that feels underwhelming or sounds like trash.

Make sure you guys only say nice things about the new art this time around. 🤫

Specifically to be a jerk and push you to use Discogs, can’t you also add any kind of manual field to any entry on Discogs?  Which will also export when you want to backup your collection in a spreadsheet?
