AlexH.
Okay, all we need now is Spin Doctors reissues, or maybe an Astro Lounge expanded edition, and the terrible 90s music repress trend will officially be beyond parody. BLUES TRAVELLER, YOU GUYS. FUCK one of the progenitors of the jamband genreThis alone is reason enough to throw all their master tapes into the Marianas Trench. tape, GradedOnACurve, jerseydave77 and 1 other

iron666monkey
Bands that have been relegated to playing baseball stadiums (i.e. this band and 3EB) shouldn't be charging more than $15 per record. In fact, their records should be given away at the front gate to all ticket holders who are willing to stay and listen to this horseshit. Laughable at best. Sorry for the negativity, but seriously, was this band ever that good? Answer: No. Baseball stadium example was used because both Blues Traveler and 3EB have played after Nationals games over the past few years. I was at both games and didn't stay to see them along with about 95% of the rest of the stadium attendance. It didn't cost anything extra to stay. Best. Choice. Ever. youspinmeround
This band still plays Red Rocks ever single year on July 4th. I think for the last 15 plus years they have JoToRoBo
weinerdog
Lol @ the Spin Doctors smack. Seriously though, I don't get the hate here. Even if you don't like their music, these guys have always been solid players and had a pretty good run back in their time. As for the cost, I'm not seeing anything from the band about these. unknown pleasures
Looking at their past releases, it seems that their first two albums were released on vinyl and there's still some demand for them, especially the self-titled debut. I'm the last person who'd be defending jam bands, but if there's a market for these and they do a nice job with the reissues (and I must admit, the colored versions look really nice), I don't find any problem with this existing. apirk
Who is in the market for this stuff in 2014? Terrible 90s albums are so hot right now I did enjoy Blues Traveler when I saw them on HoRDe one year

SpazzyMcGee
Knew I'd get a laugh out of this thread. Chuckles succeeded. Let the market speak for what it wants, meaning hopefully this will tank and we can get back to relevant albums.

kannibal
Not a fan, but BT were great live at a festival show I attended many years ago. And, to all those ripping on this thread, there are PO threads on this site that are so much more embarrassing than this could ever be. bungie

timsimmons
I don't see how these reissues are any different than that Real Big Fish reissue. Or any of those Silverchair reissues. Or the cake box set for that matter. Some people like certain bands more than others. Getting bent out of shape because something is betting reissued or issued for the first time is silly.
