bobby
Likewise. Super hyped for them making their return but damn that price is a tough pill to swallow, even if the variants look sick. Hoping they’re over in the UK next year even just for Outbreak.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
This is so good, death Knows your name has maybe the best first two tracks for a hardcore album this century. Prestonlanes
Passing too—but stoked on the songs and will see them if they play shows (and probably buy merch).
Han Solo
Lots of Daze test presses for Black Friday - World of Pleasure, Serration, A Mourning Star, King Nine, Pain of Truth, Blood Runs Cold, Witness Chamber and all that other good stuff https://dazexclusive.bigcartel.com/product/test-presses I bought a Serration, always happy to support the hometown boys. WOP was expensive but that also would’ve been cool
ParallelofDeath
The pricing on the Daze test pressings is very aggressive, compared to what other labels like Relapse or Tankcrimes charge for TPs from much more established bands. I picked up the Adrienne because I love that band but honestly I feel kinda stupid for paying that much. Best of luck to Daze with this sale though. manic_compressed
I'm tempted to pay $250 for Not Through Blood. Someone will do it.

ParallelofDeath
Asbestos Records also has a TP sale, incl Rival Schools, Quicksand and many more: https://asbestosrecords.bigcartel.com/product/super-rare-test-pressing-sale

2notepockets
Favourite albums for 2023? For me in Hardcore it's Envision - The Gods That Built Tomorrow Which also have one of the best bandcamp reviews I've seen: It's like if Voivod didn't do drugs and were raised by single mothers. Dying Wish - Symptoms of Survival Fold - Demo 2023 Murder Capital - Left Behind Scowl - Psychic Dance Routine Serration - Simulations of Hell Shallow End & All That Matters - A 2023 Promotional Guide XweaponX & World of Pleasure - Weapon of Pleasure Zulu - A New Tomorrow Honorable mentions: Buggin Gel Edited December 16, 2023 by daegor Han Solo
yes chef
MSPaint and Militarie Gun were my favorite adjacent records for sure. Top HC LPs were probably Spy, Never Ending Game, Pain of Truth and Drain. I think I can officially say I'm disappointed by the Incendiary and Magnitude records. Gel is probably the most overrated band in hardcore. I kept up with hardcore a lot this year but everyone's year end of lists for hardcore have stuff i hadn't checked out. Or things that didn't do much for me.
