itsWetWilly
I entirely disagree, there's no such thing. If there is demand it should be kept in print. daegor
eight1echo
they pressed way too many enough of these to keep it in print over the past year daegor

jhulud
Looks like what that dude posted is kinda true. I saw DFHVN at the Miami and Orlando shows. Picked a copy of the record in Miami as a gamble and it was the Raiders tour version. Pictured here with the new patch they have with them to show it's current. Tonight (or last night since it's 1:07am here) in Orlando, I asked the merch guy if he was confident that the copies still on hand were the black with silver splatter. Initially he wasn't 100% now as they had sold a lot already. Two guys buying merch were also asking and one was cool with opening the copy he was getting to verify. It was the most recent press of pink and piss yellow. And this came out from a box they unsealed and opened as we all watched. So very much likely the Raiders press are all gone. The merch guy for the band is very cool but he will not let you just open the shrinkwrap of the record and then back out if it's not the color you want. So be cool and don't push your luck if you're going to any of the shows & buying the merch. Take the gamble and buy it.

jhulud
Nice score Juan! Thanks, Mike! I completely blanked out on texting you about it. By the way, in Orlando, all bands were even more intense. Pallbearer sounded even heavier.
Rip
Was there a print with that same patch design? Cause I'd love one if they were available.

raynerho
Got my raider press when they were in Singapore last month. Lucky, they only had less than 20 copies for sale.

parkinglot
Anonymous said: When Deafheaven came to my town a few months ago, George made straight up Hitler salutes throughout their whole set, and Hate Forest, the band whose shirt they wore, isn't "kind of nationalist," they're Nazis who advocate killing all non-whites. Speaking as a mixed race Jew, I'd like to put a bomb under Deafheaven's van and blow them all to Hell. Fuck all Nazis, even if they happen to be good musicians. that sounds fucked up. i love drudkh (apparently has a member of hate forest) but the internet isn’t drawing up a lot of info on hate forest being an NSBM band so far. not denying your claim or anything. just trying to look up shit i don’t know about. i would also like to know more this whole “george from deafheaven did hitler salutes” while they played thing. never heard of that happening. can’t imagine a band with an actual open white supremacist member being as popular as deafheaven are. again, not denying your claims or anything. (only posting for the sake of conversation, i have no idea if any of this is accurate)
hxcoliver
The time I saw Deafheaven, or even from all the videos I've watched, not once did I see any Nazi salutes. He does do a lot of hand motions and stuff, maybe the person mistook them for something that wasn't?

LifeTourist
I highly doubt this actually happened otherwise it would have been common knowledge already. I remember there was some beef when they toured Europe a few years ago with a band called Kingdom who called them out on one of them wearing a Hate Forest shirt. It's a shirt of a band they like, who gives a fuck? Just because they like the music, doesn't mean they agree with the political stance. I see Burzum shirts a lot, doesn't mean that everyone wearing them is a nazi.
jhulud
When DFHVN played in Ft. Lauderdale with BTBAM, a friend of mine who happens to write for the local music scene magazine made a similar comment about the "Nazi salute" gestures. He was going to make mention of that in his review of the show. He did and he got destroyed all over online by the band and Sargent House and plenty more. I have no idea what he and countless others are droning on about with this. George does plenty of hand and arm movements and postures when up on stage. In the five times I've seen them live, never did I get any impression or idea that he was doing Nazi salutes. That's ridiculous. His movements up on stage are more indicative of a conductor leading his orchestra. OldBoy
