I understand comparing bands and whatnot, but these two bands seem to be in totally different worlds to me- from different eras, play different music, etc. Just doesn't make sense to me. But they are honestly a talented band, and if you aren't turned off by high - pitched singers, then you should check them out. i honestly can't help but get the feeling that a lot of the circa hate around here is kind of circlejerk-y. not to say anyone's personal opinion on a band is WRONG because it certainly isn't - but I feel like a lot of people just dismiss them right off. i mean i get if you hate high-pitched vocals or if their style of music isn't your thing or you just outright dislike their music altogether. however, these guys are legitimate, talented, honest musicians and it's kind of a bummer to see so many people here act like their part in the sunny day split is spoiling the release.
