twatay Posted August 31, 2015 Share Posted August 31, 2015 I first saw this band live during SXSW in 2006 at a dive bar when they were playing first/second EP material. There were about a dozen people there, and I was completely blown away by their performance. Been following them ever since. I'll never forget how my jaw dropped when I first heard Baizley's 'clean'ish singing on the Red Album. From then on I knew this band was only moving forward and would not be rehashing their old sounds. It's been a treat so far. Can't wait to hear all of Purple!
