GalacticMelt
If you and a bunch of your dude friends stand around the record and beat off on it, once the semen dries you can peel it off, which will remove the Sharpie. Similar to the wood glue method, but this is way more effective. I love Jizz records. darkforest71 and iron666monkey
DecayToDeath
According to the ShopRadioCast page for the limited pink breast cancer vinyl, assuming the pink record came from there, it's probably one of these artists: Against Me! Vector53
Kellie Pickler. Mystery solved. That's only if you consider Kellie to be a guy, cause OP did state it was a he. This also makes me ask: Why didn't you offer him the sleeve? A sig usually looks way better on a sleeve than it does on a label on the record. trevorxramage

HybridxReality
Use sandpaper, sell the album as a 1/1 remixed version. I second this.

just a normal guy kevin
The only real way to remove the sharpie is to never ever reveal the name of the artist regardless of how many opportunities present themselves. nothnks, buddha4281, DecayToDeath and 1 other

youcanthideit
Ten bucks says sometime soon you'll regret removing the signature. In fact, since time = money, by the time you're done you could have found another one of these records and saved yourself money, time, and your sanity. Ya know what, just throw it out, you've probably already screwed it up. I'm trying to wrap my head around why it's bad that he signed it? Did he smash the tip of the sharpy in the record? Cuz if that's the case your record is already ruined... You obviously don't like the artist enough to want to keep their signature.... Sheet, if one of my favorite artists signed one of my limited vinylz I would be so happy.
smailtronic
I hope he has music on vinyl. I'd pay good money for a "Chocolate Rain" single. Don't give Record Store Day any ideas. funtitled, niblips, aflycon and 2 others
just a normal guy kevin
Man, once they're done reissuing Areosmith and 311 albums, they can totally release YouTube viral video 12" singles. Genius! aflycon and niblips
