Anyone surprised? Never paid more than half price for any of their releases. Still remember arguing with this guy on reddit when he started this thing and trying to explain to him why I found the subscription model entirely unappealing. Glad it worked out for him.

True. If the discs themselves are fine then no reason for a full refund. I think dude is taking it extra hard though being in Australia where he had to pay a lot more. Just the gamble you gotta take sometimes.

He didn't say they didn't offer any compensation. Just no replacement or "full refund". I want to see what constitutes a full refund and not the partial one they no doubt offered that was conveniently left out of this post.

Love the new track. Woke up last night for the drop, but ultimately didn't want a glow in the dark record so I went back to sleep. Will probably just grab the indie exclusive variant when it pops up on Bullmoose later today.

Honestly, very few of the re-recorded albums we've seen as of late have been what I personally would consider great. I find it hard to buy them, even if it's an OOP release, where I would love to have some version of it to spin. Sonically, it's not what I remember or want. I absolutely get the point of doing it, but they just don't generally hold up to the lightning in a bottle that was the original in most cases.
