Robert_Sofa
$34 is a better price, but i cant seem to find a PO button for that? What's S/H from a .co.uk site to the US tho?
TheGhostOfRandySavage
What's S/H from a .co.uk site to the US tho? ^^ Right? The nice thing about the $45 PO was that it included shipping to the US. I think if it comes out much less expensive than the $45 it will be negligible.
Mathyou99
With MOV's history of doing great presses with excellent sound quality, this new more limited release will likely be the desired press, especially because the old silver picture discs sounded like crap (and still commanded a 300 dollar premium in mint condition). Couldn't agree more, I've heard horror stories but from my personal experience the sound quality was always great, the packaging looked a little flimsy and photoshopped on some releases but I'm a glass half full kinda guy and as long as the tunes sounded good I could care less about the packaging but that's just me. ptothedo
Glad this finally happened. Will keep my OG, give the boot to a friend, and maybe pick up a black.
Derek™
For those curious, shipping on Juno is $6 for a single 12". Not sure about a double LP. Robert_Sofa

Plarocks
Bought this, along with a pink Mew "Frengers," as I don't think that one is going to be around for long either

albert
especially because the old silver picture discs sounded like crap (and still commanded a 300 dollar premium in mint condition). I literally had no idea my original copy was worth that much. I did not pay near that much for it
NoWorthyIcons
That was gut-wrenchingly difficult to pull the trigger on, but ultimately $40 for a double LP of this prestige and rarity is not too shabby, not to mention it's on coloured wax. I'm sure I will be thankful I spent the cash when it comes in late May. almightyseancore

elmark
if you're wondering what kind of gold color this will be, just check the Faith No More - Album of the Year gold color http://s.pixogs.com/image/R-4822602-1377597660-7210.jpeg, that's the one. I know MOV and their record plant, and they have quite a small variation in colors.
oxeneer
right now 14 copies available at http://www.banquetrecords.com/MOVLP1115 and normanrecords has it for preorder (good shipping in europe) http://www.normanrecords.com/records/146911-the-mars-volta-deloused-in-the-comatorium-
8ight
This is why I'm laughing at people complaining about the price. I would rather spend 45 and get a copy first hand then pay 100+ on a second hand copy that was owned by an infant who didn't know how to take care of an album and probably played it on a crosley with a broken needle. Also you have to imagine people who own the OG will probably buy one of these because the originals sounded bad and all. The days of 15 dollar big name represses are probably over. Actually, this is exactly why I'm complaining about the price. If nobody who actually wanted to listen to the album bought it, it would just get eaten up by people hoping to resell it for a profit. And if again nobody bought the album [from the flippers] it would drop in price. So in reality, supporting labels that are selling overpriced "limited" albums is actually indirectly supporting flippers. There wouldn't be flippers if record labels produced reasonably priced runs and repressed as needed to keep up with demand. I've seen people here complain about the "vinyl bubble," but this is the kinda stuff that keeps blowing the bubble up more and more.
danionly
If nobody who actually wanted to listen to the album bought it... And if again nobody bought the album [from the flippers]... But that will never happen. You can't just collectively decide 'okay, no one buy this until they lower the price'.
