apirk
Not good? Was kind of interested because it was one of my favorite albums last year.
parkinglot
Not good? Was kind of interested because it was one of my favorite albums last year.Same. The original songs, from what I heard, aren't even recognizable within the remixes.

thehotsoup
Its a solid shop in Center City. They have good used records and I was just in there watching them pull stuff out for RSD. I would also recommend Milk Crate Cafe on Girard. I know they are doing something this year as well.
radiatorhums
I just listened to the Cloud Nothings remix record. What...the...fuck...? Haven't listened to it, but I can't imagine that it's something that works well remixed. Rock records just don't need to be remixed for the most part. birdwell
A lot of stores won't have the Elvis release by Saturday......we received our copies to distribute today. They're kind of cheesy, honestly. The labels are made to look old and worn...but come across really really cheesy. Expensive and hokey piece for two songs that most of you have heard and won't be able to play on your turntables.... darkeyelids
I just hope I can get that Blur 7" What is this? I haven't heard anything about it? Nor is it on the RSD US or UK site
Aych
Since you plan on going early and getting stuff for other people, what is it that you unfortunately cannot do on RSD this year? I'm genuinely confused Late reply, but I'm losing my job at the end of the month, and don't have enough spare cash to afford much more than rent and bills. It's more of a money thing than a schedule conflict.
dapeebs
Well, just found out Victor Villarreal (guitarist for Cap'n Jazz) is having an in-store performance at a nearby record store for RSD. Haven't really listened to them, but I'm assuming that it would be cool to check out? RockPuppetz
localman95
Getting to my store (Papa Jazz in Columbia, SC) at 6 AM (they open at 8). Hoping to grab the Every Time I Die, Makthaverskan, The Devil Wears Prada, and The Front Bottoms 7"s as well as The White Stripes and (hopefully) Deja Entendu. sciencekiller
Where would we have heard these never before released recordings? Are these not them? He said people have heard the song before, not necessarily the versions (although maybe the versions were released). And how many people are really going to play these or have the capability to. jrodan, Jettkoral and stl_ben
