NapalmBrain
Haha, I doubt I'd be able to flip it for much, but even doubling the price would be nice. I kinda like the demos, so the digital download will be cool too (if they are lossless). meh its demos even lossless probably won't be great quality
THE_James_Champ
Just grabbed the Kevin Devine/Owen split. Not a fan of Kevin, but love me some Owen. I enjoy Mr. Devine. I'll take that half.
The Butcha
It goes for $80+ on discogs. I'd probably grab it for $50. Just grabbed the Kevin Devine/Owen split. Not a fan of Kevin, but love me some Owen. Ah I need to grab it also. I saw there's like a /100 subscription variants. My Owen collection will never be complete. Guest
I enjoy Mr. Devine. I'll take that half. I'll just try my best to slice it down the middle for you . Ah I need to grab it also. I saw there's like a /100 subscription variants. My Owen collection will never be complete. I saw that too. Not worth grabbing it, since this is the only record I wanted. My Owen will never be complete either .

Guest
guess my local sold out, so no more $50 copies . I think it's been oop and sold out for a bit now, so would have been weird if they still had any.
NapalmBrain
. I think it's been oop and sold out for a bit now, so would have been weird if they still had any. you'd be surprised what doesn't sell, I bought a 3 year old 10" recently it was a first pressing on the original label even though it's been reissued on another label and been through 2 more pressings
GHOSTDRONES
As you shouldn't the cassette revival is stupid and I approve of taking advantage of those who participate Let's be clear... there is no cassette revival. There are many genres that have never stopped using cassettes. All of these pop punk, indie rock, et al who recently started producing cassettes are all trying to capitalize on a fad. The same thing can and has to be said about the supposed vinyl revival.

Guest
I'm going to start a CD revival. Who's with me!?!
NapalmBrain
cassette was basically dead besides like noise/minimal wave tapes. I mean both formats kind of just went on life support, but there was still more vinyl than cassettes produced during the slow period
NapalmBrain
I understand it from a label perspective it's cheaper and quicker to produce than vinyl, but I refuse to pay for a format that sounds worse than digital. It's vinyl or digital for me, no time for silly gimmicky formats
deafening
Bought my friend the BN cassette. Texted her "I may or may not be sending you the most useless Christmas present."

Bladewillisisdead
I've only ever owned cars with cassette decks. Cassettes are dope.
Guest
At this point, I wish my car had a tape deck. My CD player does not work when it's cold out, will not read the CD, so I drive in silence because it's better than the radio.
NapalmBrain
I don't even own a tape deck, tons at the thrift stores but I could care less I hated it as a kid, and I'm not jumping on board now. My car came from tape deck age but the previous owner installed a cd/aux player
Bladewillisisdead
I'm not too into the rest of the album but holy shit "Hospital Bed" by Spirit Night is an amazing song.
NapalmBrain
i wonder how I can find the richest most obsessive DJ Shadow collector, I never wanted to sell my 1 of a kind record but if i'm moving I could use all the funds I can get. A Google search didn't really turn anything up
Sad Heart
The only acceptable cassette is the one you use to adapt play your DAP for the car.
Bladewillisisdead
I dunno, I've got the Space Jam and Batman Forver soundtracks on cassette. It doesn't get much more legit than that. KingTacoMunster
Eliminator Jr.
I once DLed an album allegedly had leaked and it turned out to be 80 minutes of the Space Jam theme. I listened to the whole thing. The Butcha and deafening
Bladew1ll1s1sdead
I have some dope tapes.
The Butcha
I had a demo tape I made of the first band I was ever in. Other than that, never got into tapes.
