  1. Do you think God stays in heaven, because he too fears of what he's created... here on earth?

  2. I'll try to keep this short, so let's go. About a year ago I was fed up with intl shipping prices and the new EU tax law, that you have to pay tax (it's 27% here in Hungary) on everything you order, it is especially disgsuting that the amount is calculated on the item + shipping total, so basically a 20-dollar record with the least awful scenario of a 20-dollar shipping would end up in my hands for a whopping $50,8 which came to the point that collecting is becoming unsustainable. This is when I dug into mail forwarding services, and after about 5-6 shipments without any issues I can confidently say that it's a game changer. Disclaimer: please look into it yourself with your country details etc. So the process is I'm using ship7.com who has a warehouse in Delaware (tax free US state), I ship my records there mostly for free or cheap media mail, I have up to 60 days free period (after that it has a small fee)to wait for multiple packages and then I ship them out to Hungary together for way cheaper than it would be directly from the labels/stores would be, not to mention you can get US indie exclusives, get stuff from stores that only ship to the US etc.. (Also, this is up to how rulefollower you are you can play with declared value, but then again it might be risky, so it's on you to do it or not, but alone saving on shipping is huge, saving on tax is enermous). Obviously inserting a middleman is always a risk, as you have no help from the place you bought the record anymore after if arrives to the warehouse, but I was at a point of either this risk or selling off my collection. the rant stops now, here are some pictures of my last 10-record (teamed up with a friend for HIL, that's why only 9 records pictured) shipment and a sheet about the savings.

  4. Damn I got chumped so hard on that 5xLP. Deep remorse on that buy. Got shipping confirmation for my 3xLP though. I'll actually open and play that one. And true to form, it will be discounted about 40% in about 2 months as predicted above.

  13. I watched All About Evil on Shudder earlier today and it was great! Very silly, but very self aware. The cast included Natasha Lyonne, Jack Donner and Elvira even has a role as one of the character's parents. Its just fun. Throw it on if you want something moderately cheesy but with good slasher scenes

  18. I have been disappointed with or didn’t like a bit of the new albums I have heard this year, granted there’s hasn’t been many since I don’t have the energy to pay attention to most new releases these days. Didn’t really enjoy Joyce Manor, Cave In (don’t hate me), and Duster. Built to Spill sounds like it’s going to be another slightly enjoyable but phoned in album from Doug. I really enjoyed: MJ Lenderman - Boat Songs Gospel - The Loser/MVDM Wilco - Cruel Country Black Country, New Road - Ants From Up There Cloakroom - Dissolution Wave Giraffes? Giraffes! - Death Breath (surprisingly probably my AOTY so far? I have never liked anything else they have done that much) I can already tell that Birds in Row is going to be incredible and will most likely be at the top of my list. Hoping new Loma Prieta and Bluetile Lounge come out this year.

  19. Thanks a lot! I see you're in Montreal from your profile. I think we're trying to come out that way in November, I think we're trying to setup a show with Crabe.
