  2. Well. My store didn’t even get their allotted copy of My Life With The Thrill Kill Kult. The owner told me that if they receive it in a later shipment, he’ll hold it for me. But he did have the Malfunkshun for me. So that’s cool & snagged that.

  3. AFAIK it’s only with Cove. I guess the better way to phrase this is: “I wish labels would stop making artists do this.” I believe they are doing this exactly why Taylor Swift, Senses Fail, etc have all done this. A label won’t give up the rights to the music so they’re hoping fans will just move on to this version on streaming services.

  4. If anybody is looking for Team Sleep, we don’t have an online store but my shop has 6 copies left. They have been opened and the inside jacket is signed by CrookOne. They’ve been placed in a poly bag and include the hype sticker. They are priced at retail. Message me if you’d like one.

  7. They had em on tour, but I don't know if they were bringing back leftovers to ship or had a separate stock (probably the latter). Either way, they looked great.

  10. Anyone seeing extra Ladytron? Seems like shops only got 1 or 2, wondering who to chase after tomorrow for online leftovers. Thx,

  11. Loved the more west coast cool jazz in my twenties and since have jumped into my Blue Note era in my thirties. Started with Ike Quebec and Grant Green and now has ballooned to a 24h playlist. So much jazz to catch up on. Love me some 70s Japanese jazz. Soul Media - Funky Stuff is another I’ve grooved to.

  13. It would appear this way. My girlfriend's sister hit me up yesterday to look for something and then her friend texted my gf asking when the local shops open. Also judging by the insane line that I just got into, Swift fans are definitely under the impression that she is releasing something. Usually I'm like 20th in line at the location I'm at but I'm probably 50-60th. Kinda crazy but I'm remaining hopeful I get what I want

  19. So I found a hole in the wall Thrift shop. Literally hidden in the corner of a small shopping center. There i found in the corner, about 50 jazz records up against the wall. Most were from the 50s some 60s and 70s. Couldn't buy them all. But came out with about five Brubeck and some Michel Legrand, Cal Tjader and Kai with JJ Johnson. Was a lot more but couldn't take them all. Also this popped up in my email: Really excited about this. But it's already sold out on Amazon. Hopefully my local will be able to preorder this for me. 20. Starting to venture down a dangerous, expensive rabbit hole of Japanese 70s jazz. Just listening online now, since I really can't afford this stuff.

  21. Post from the band today. They say they are working on a “Saosin’s Version” of ST and about 1/3 done. Not sure I’m into that idea. They also have new songs in the works.
