There Will Be Hell Toupée! (The Donald Trump Thread)

Look, it seems that everyone here supports humanitarianism and is anti-establishment to a certain degree. If any of you Bernie supporters feel slighted by him for vowing to support Hillary, know that Libertarians share equal disdain for her and Trump. Gary Johnson isn't a hardcore Libertarian, he's not pushing Anarchy, and a lot of you would probably side with him a lot more than you would think. His campaign is worth looking into, this fight isn't over, and as was mentioned a couple pages back now is the time we should all band together.

If you're a Bernie supporter who refuses to vote for Hillary, why wouldn't you just do a write-in vote for Bernie?  He has just as much (if not more) of a chance to win this election as Gary Johnson does, and it would be a much more effective form of "protest voting" (if you're in to that sort of thing).

Edit: Screw it. This thread has become too surreal. Vote for whoever the hell you want to.

I remember seeing someone online tell Bernie supporters to just write him in and if they all do it he could win...

no, really it can't. No body besides the republican or democrat nominee will have a real shot until they let other parties into the ballot and into the debates.

I think I heard Gary Johnson is polling at 10 percent currently and needs 15 percent to be let in. I really hope he gets it so we can (hopefully) end or significantly change the two party system.

Bernie couldn't get the black and latino vote, and if he ran as an independent Democrats who supported him will feel like he left them with no other choice but Hillary, which is the only reason why I could see him endorsing her now.

I at least want see Gary Johnson get into the debates. Whether or not he'd be able to hold his own against a loud mouth ass like Trump or a manipulative sociopath who uses "feminism" to manipulate the public is yet to be seen. It'd be super interesting to witness nonetheless.

I'd agree but I think Ralph Nader met the percentage a couple election cycles ago and they still wasn't allowed into the debate, they don't want anyone fucking up their production of a back and forth debate between two candidates.

If Bernie went at Hillary like this things would probably look a lot different right now.

"Hillary Clinton has perfected the politics of personal profit and theft."

"She ran the State Department like her own personal hedge fund – doing favors for oppressive regimes, and many others, in exchange for cash."

"Then, when she left, she made $21.6 million giving speeches to Wall Street banks and other special interests – in less than 2 years – secret speeches that she does not want to reveal to the public."

"Together, she and Bill made $153 million giving speeches to lobbyists, CEOs, and foreign governments in the years since 2001."

"They totally own her, and that will never change."

"She gets rich making you poor."

"Hillary Clinton may be the most corrupt person ever to seek the presidency."

Things aren't looking too good for Trump, his numbers are slipping, and his campaign isn't bringing in any money while hemorrhaging money at the same time.

things are looking great for Trump.

hillary, the most corrupt candidate running, is outspending Trump $116 million to $0 on ads. (http://www.cnn.com/2016/06/20/politics/donald-trump-television-ads/)

it's barely enough to keep hillary, the unethical crook, up in the polls. her margins are dismal and we don't even know how random the poll results are. link to poll methods and recent results: http://i2.cdn.turner.com/cnn/2016/images/06/21/rel7b.-.2016.general.pdf.

it's absolutely ridiculous that one of her top donors (CNN) is taking lead in both conducting and propagating the poll results to the American public.

NPR annotated his speech with fact checking.  It's a pretty objective look at the claims he made in the speech.

Maybe it would have resulted in a closer race, but this level of muckraking makes me feel sick.  And, sure, as the above article shows, Clinton has not always been the most honest politician.  There are definitely questionable aspects to her past.  But I feel a lot more comfortable when Sanders says in a debate "I don't believe she has the judgment to be president and here are the qualified reasons why" versus Trump spewing insults, insinuation, half-truths, and conspiracy theories between what would otherwise be rational points.

i feel the opposite. it gives me great pleasure when a corrupt crook has to face the facts and take responsibility for their bad actions. justice.

it's also completely backwards that NPR would rely on Politifact as their source for "fact-checking" a speech. Politifact is owned by Times, a top 10 hillary donor and is completely biased. NPR should personally fact-check a statement if they want more credibility.

Like Trump?  (Trump U, Trumps DC hotel, Trump's casino in Atlantic City, etc etc etc etc)

you have to understand that i'm not pro-Trump, as much as i'm anti-hillary. her corruption levels are off the charts. she laughed about getting a pedophile rapist off an technicality (audio available) when she knew he was guilty. she also blamed the 12 yr old rape victim stating she fantasized about older men while making her case during trial. she has committed perjury (lied under oath) repeated times (benghazi and whitewater). the entire whitewater scandal, which is an absolute mess of perjury, fraud, corruption and destruction of records. she was fired earlier in her career for being a dishonest and unethical lawyer. insider trading. she attacked all the women who came out saying that bill clinton raped and/or sexually assaulted them, calling them "trash" "liars" and "bimbos". including monica lewinsky who bill clinton lied about to the American people, resulting in his impeachment as president and disbarment as a lawyer. as sec of state she openly called for the assassination of gaddafi in libya. his eventual death (which she is on video laughing about) combined with arm sales led to the destabilization of the country and uprising of radical islamic forces, which led to the sodomy and eventual death of a US ambassador (3 additional Americans dead) in the hands of radical islamic rebels. she then lied about the actual reasons to both the American people and the victims' families, blaming it on a youtube video. she's also on video laughing during the Benghazi questioning. she endangered the American people through the use of a private email server. we know of at least two hacking attempts on the private server and more results are still coming out through leaks. she deleted 33,000 emails before the investigation even started, so unless they are uncovered it prevents FOIA (freedom of information act) requests and hampers the FBI criminal investigation she is under. there is a clear connection between money she is receiving through the clinton foundation and personal bank accounts and favors that are then passed on to her donors. she approves drone strikes which have been known to murder civilians from her blackberry. she requires all-expense-paid trips on private jets plus a $225,000 minimum donation to her foundation just to speak somewhere, thus setting the groundwork for quid pro quo relationships. even while she was senator she broke the senator code of conduct while under investigation from the senate ethics committee for accepting large donations to her foundation. she made an appointment (who had none of the job requirements to deal with tactical nuclear agreements) to the state department intelligence committee after receiving a large donation from him. she has received millions from middle eastern countries who treat women as property and who stone and execute women and LGBT, all the while pretending like she cares. never before has there been a candidate involved in more scandals and investigations. etc, etc, etc....

but to get back to Trump...

Trump U is a civil suit and could have already been settled out of court (he declined to) if there wasn't good chance he will win in court. worst case is he ends up paying out, which is justice.

anything related to Trump DC hotel is the responsibility of Kensington Glass Arts and the Craftsman Group. subcontractors hired by Trump's organization. the buck stops there.

there is nothing inherently wrong in filing for bankruptcy.

apples and oranges. it's not even close.

Failed business ventures are a little less shameful than being a profiteer from war and murder. How the fuck is that even a legitmate counterpoint? Jesus dude.

Well, your feelings aside, he's not telling half truths and being slanderous. These are legitmate horrible things she has done. Bernie was a whimp during debates. "One of us on this stage," dude, your opponent is right across from you. Address her directly.

Blows my mind that you guys sympathize with her at all. She's a murderous militant sociopathic monster.

This really is another "lesser of two evils" election and its a bummer.

I'd vote for literally anyone besides Hitler and Regan to stop a Trump presidency.

what errs you to conclude that hillary clinton is the lesser of two evils? because it isn't logic or facts.
