Emo Revival
I was listening to The Wonder Years - Suburbia tonight and realized that I liked the songs on the b-side of the record much more than I liked the songs on the a-side of the record. I know this is a personal preference thing but since this is a music forum I thought we could discuss this. So are there any albums you have that you prefer the b-side to the a-side? Or to the broader point are their any albums that you really enjoy on one side and don't like as much on the other?

RustyShackelford
the A side to Moving Pictures is the best A side to any record ever. SpazzyMcGee
David The Gnome
My first thought was Say Anything - Is A Real Boy (original tracklist without Was A Real Boy). I'd take the last 6 songs over the first 7, for sure. Yellow Cat/Red Cat is probably my favorite off of that album and is within the first 7 and I'd still have to go with the latter 6. With that said, that entire album pretty much hits the bullseye for me.
danaisalright
In an Aeroplane Over the Sea. I can stare at a blank wall while listening to side B and be perfectly content.

Bub 85
Converge "You Fail Me" When I flip that record to the B side and "In Her Shadow" starts up, it always gives me such an eerie vibe.

Shelby
Any record where the B/D-Side is one long 20-ish minute song. Caravan - In the Land of Grey and Pink, Built to Spill - Live (both B and D side <3), of Montreal - Coquelicot, etc. I just love looking at the grooves of B-sides that don't have track breaks, dunno why. FlippingOut
Pretty fond of the bside on Fiction Family's second album and Anchor & Braille's first album. New album from Dawes as well Came here to post this. The B side starts off with "Empires", a vinyl exclusive track. All in all you can tell they actually gave some though to the arrangement of songs for the vinyl release. SpazzyMcGee
