toxicity
Kay Kay And His Weathered Underground s/t on rainbow. It was before I had a record player, bought it because I loved the band and thought the vinyl looked rad. Pozo

parkinglot
I think it was early 2010, I was in grade 10, and it was Varuna and Cardinals by The Republic of Wolves. I have like 300+ CD's, because that was all I bought for years up until collecting records. Crazy to think I've been collecting for 4 years now, but I didn't get really, really into it until joining here. My parents also never introduced me to records as a kid. There were never any records or even a record player in the house, so my love for music kind of naturally just led me to records eventually. dandw12786
Mine was probably around 2007 or 2008 - Social Distortion - Greatest Hits. Was the first (and only) time they came to my city for a show. Still probably the best show I've ever been to. I didn't get a turntable to listen to it on until about May 2013. Quite the wait.

HadItUpToHere
When I was in Vegas I saw The Beatles Love show and wanted a souvenir. I went to The Beatles Store and bought a box of Beatles singles that was really overpriced. It was the 4 7 inches for like 50 bucks... lol Didn't even have a record player. kk-downing
I inherited a shit load of beat to shit records from my old man when I was in middle school, but the first record I actually bought was Employer, Employee's - Mother Spain and the Wayfaring Myth 7". $3ppd from Robotic Empire. Those were the days.
filthyrich
Michael Jackson's Thriller. Made a tape of it for my boombox! Once I started (again), I think I grabbed the first presses of Counting Crows' Recovering The Satellites, Ben Folds Five S/T, Alice In Chains' Jar Of Flies/Sap, Radiohead's The Bends, and all the original Whiskeytown 7-inches. Shame I stopped again, I was on a hot streak in 1996 apparently...
