DecayToDeath
Your signature kind of angers me. Why do you feel the need to justify a not massive collection to strangers? Who cares? Some people do. I've had that up since I joined, though, just never felt like changing it. Gimme a second.

sundermunich
Changed my signature ha-ha-hilarious. no but really, the idea that there is any need to express some kind of remorse or apology for not having acquired x-amount of y is at least mildly upsetting. Perhaps anger was a poor word choice. but also, yay publicity?

Bladewillisisdead
On the rare ocassion I look through vinyl at a HT when one of the kids who works there tries to sell me on stuff I'm just like "I get it, it's your job, but please don't. It's embarrassing enough having to flip past all these A Day to Remember and Korn records." Multiverse

Bladewillisisdead
I actually was going to include them but decided two bands was enough and Korn was funnier.

Bladewillisisdead
Last time I was in a HT there were legit like 20 copies of the same Korn record and it was hilarious.
Dominic_
Last time I was in a HT there were legit like 20 copies of the same Korn record and it was hilarious. I can imagine. There is a select amount of their stuff I like, but it's few and far between. Nu-Metal stuff was my gateway into "real" metal.
vinyl addict
Haven't seen Korn, but I kind of like the other bands. A7X's stuff after the first one was pretty good. I'd say just the opposite. A7X was "ok" for that first LP, then they got all melodic and corny.

Eh, melodic isn't always nice, and it's nice to have something melodic after throwing Cannibal Corpse on.

throughbeingcruel
I dig the first couple ADTR records (cuz pop-punk) and the first two A7X records. A couple songs on "City of Evil" we're decent too. Definitely not the best two bands ever, but I guess I see them for what they are. Some of that A7X shit is laughable at times. And the drumming on ADTR's "For Those Who Have Heart" is fucking rad. I wish Alex wouldn't have watered his shit down after that album.

vinyl addict
What's laughable about it? Just what I told you, the melodic and cornyness of it. It's just....bad
Dominic_
Just what I told you, the melodic and cornyness of it. It's just....bad I will admit some of it is kind of corny, but a lot of stuff is in it's own way. You aren't exactly supposed to take death metal seriously either. Having a melody isn't a bad thing.
