brentoage
Sigur Rós - Takk (original press) at HMV in Toronto for $18. Passed on it so many times, and kept telling myself over and over that I'd pick it up another day. Finally went back for it, and it was gone. Oops. paal
Not that bad, but I missed a copy of The Movielife - 40 Hour Train To Penn for I think $16 on eBay. I had my bid set at $15.50 and forgot about it. I don't want to sound like a dick, but this does not necessarily mean you would have won it if you had set your bid on $17. For all i know the winner could have bid $100 or even $400.. chiefwahoo
hipsterasfolk
Saw a pair of GISM records at a local shop, didn't feel like shelling out $25 a pop :/ Also another was The Blood - False Gestures of a Devious Public.....can't find that sucker anymore either

raidenradio
When I worked at a record store but didn't have a record player yet. All these records are ones that I could have had for free because our store was bought out and the new company said we could have any inventory that wasn't in their system. Bunch of White Stripes 7" don't know the songs or anything Coheed & Cambria - It was a 7" that had "IV" on the front. Don't remember what song. Mastodon - Blood Mountain (1st press) The Dark Knight Soundtrack I did still get a bunch of free shit but it was mostly movies, video games, and porno dvd's. taylo234
My Chemical Romance - Sweet Cheers for Sweet Revenge with that deluxe packaging thing for $20 shipped on amazon. Out of nowhere these things go for $80+ on ebay
turnstiles
Ended up not buying Not Animal and Animal from Margot at a show they had on that tour because the LPs were 20$ a piece.

Vinyl Fury
Rival Schools - United By Fate. it was at Amoeba for $25. Figured I might be able to get it later for around the same price and decided to buy some other stuff while I was there instead. Stupid. It keeps showin up on discogs for $80-100 now. celebdeath
Clutch - Self Titled. Bought for a steal at $25, sold it a year later for quick cash, regretted it every single day ever since.
numanoid
In the days right before ebay, I passed on an original Cough/Cool for $75. I thought that was way too much for any 7", especially a punk band I had heard a million times. Oops.
mmhmm
People have been saying that for a while now. Still waiting... Go buy it for $500 then in Stephan's store. Bonus: autographed.
mmhmm
For pure flipping purposes (lol) I wish I'd bought 20 copies of Relient K's "mmhmm" when I remember them being available through their store for $10/a pop. As I recall, they were actually having trouble selling off their stock of those back in the day. Amazing. jayteamanis

forgeagain
dude, i got rid of mine for $8 back in the 90's. oof Unless this was pre-Nevermind or right around when it came out, this has to be a fabrication. Everybody knew this record was worth at least $50-100 back then, and that was before the internet even existed. Either that or you had a serious drug problem. magiciendeau12
I saw Dustin Kensrue - This Good Night Is Still Everywhere (red) on eBay for cheap 2 days before the auction's end. I thought " I'll check eBay later to see how it goes " and totally forgot about it. It went for 30$. I don't regret it that much, but still... jacktownjim
Jack's Mannequin - Everything in Transit. Really wish I hadn't started regularly collecting RIGHT after that repress happened. =/
gumbercules
whattttt? i didn't know that was even pressed! I think only 300 copies, they say never to be repressed. Which is unfortunate, because it's their best album.
BiscuitsNGroovy
I remember buying Against Me!- Reinventing Axl Rose instead of Deja at a Hot Topic in Nashville. Saddens me to this day.
