I noticed there is a new box set being released for The Incident (no vinyl, lame).  And I'm on the mailing list for theburningshed, wishing to see news of a Deadwing reissue.  Aside from FOABP and In Absentia, Deadwing is their best work, imo.

Well, the Incident Box Set is not new...was available for PO when the record came out! But I think (in contrast to the other "Book"-Editions), the selling expectations exceeded the pressing number...

Poetic '90s post-punks the Van Pelt have been broken up for nearly 20 years, but the New York outfit have just uncovered a wellspring of previously unreleased material to act as a follow-up of sorts to their 1997 sophomore set Sultans of Sentiment. Their Imaginary Third arrives through Barcelona-based imprint La Castanya on Record Store Day (April 19).
