PO: RED HOUSE PAINTERS BOXSET

Recommended Posts

Wait, really? I thought Dreamover was just being sassy with that answer. Please tell me that's not a real thing. It's so ridiculous that it's on the cusp of being believable. I recall there being a flipper blog or something a while back, that talked about upcoming releases and their potential turnaround, where to purchase, what variants you wanted to spring for, and so on. I honestly wouldn't doubt someone trying to make money off someyhing similar.

Ok. From their blog. Link from their twitter....

"As mentioned in the interview, the RecordFlipper blog has now been private for six months or so and is, in fact, thriving behind a pay wall.

We may have a slot or two opened, so please see the “contact” section for our email address, if you’d like to join The List. The subscription fee is now $250/quarter or $800/year, and applicants are screened via a brief questionnaire.

Thank you."

I have no words...

It looks like it was free, then went behind a paywall with limited free content for a $50 per quarter subcription fee and eventually (in 2013) rose to $250 per quarter with no free content whatsoever (and, according to them, a waiting list).

I'm thinking they have, what, maybe two paid subscribers?
