distinctlydustin
Here's an "article" on RSD BF that's kinda silly... https://www.yahoo.com/music/record-store-day-pink-dave-214350714.html Just when you think the comments are bad, just go back and read the "article." downisthenewup87
Black friday was abysmal this year. So much horrible crap that no one wanted. And prices were way, way too high. That said, the past two record store days (official and last black Friday), there was literally nothing I wanted (other than being so, so on Get Behind Me Satan due to its price point). This year there was more than I could afford. Fight for Your Mind and Stankonia were actually albums I was certain to buy at some point (and are well done packages). There was also two of my favorite soundtracks (Garden State, High Fidelity) and Ween's The Pod and American Idiot both of which I would have purchased at any other less cash-strapped time. Emily & Co. are the most personable staff of any shop I know and their pricing is almost always better than Amoeba. (Not that it would have been today). Thing is, their hip-hop library is pretty much non-existent.

thischarmingham
We have also cut prices on some titles so things that seemed out of reach other places may be a little more reasonable here.

ryantark
Is the Coheed hard to find? The local shop I went to this morning had a stack of them. It is an item of interest, was supposed to be hard to find, pulled from the shelves, but nobody did. I saw a few yesterday.

tlr
^Same here. I checked, but has anyone said what is actually on there? I've heard it is just the regular album, not demos. I'm still looking for it too, it was pulled at the record stores around me.

I did miss it, but I'm open to buy it if anyone finds one. If not, I won't cry about it. I'll just continue living life knowing that my locals are too honest.
