Play on your phone between bands, once the music starts you get lost in that. And going to shows solo is better... you can show up and leave whenever you want! I know :\ Last time I saw Modest Mouse here was about 6 years ago at the first Twilight show after they moved it to Pioneer Park. They were expecting like 15-20k people to show up and there were 50-60k. It was a madhouse. People knocking over fences to get in and the crowd was just awful. Security was severely understaffed. Near the end of the show some 300lb+ guy jumped on stage and started running at Isaac. Isaac held his guitar like a baseball bat ready to swing at this guy's face. the guy got scared, turned around, and jumped into the crowd. On his way in the kicked my friend in the back of the head and she was bleeding pretty bad. Isaac said his "fuck yous" and stormed off stage. I thought they'd never play here again after that show.
