However from an energy perspective they bring it still. Seeing them in larger venues has never suited this band but $$$$ This I remember when they opened up for the White Zombie / Pantera tour. I also saw them on that last Incubus tour (Incubus sounded terrible). The energy was amazing but his voice just isn't what it used to be live. Saw them last year when they did a one-off show without Incubus & I thought it was the best Deftones show I'd ever seen. Chino crushed the high shreaks in Knife Prty. So probably a March/April release. So close! Album's not coming out till April. Expect an announcement this week sometime. I want to believe. As great as they were for that, the best performance I've seen them give was at a club in Knoxville where This Will Destroy You opened for them. What a setting. It Was my first time seeing them and was absolutely blown away. saw them two more times in the next calendar year I had such a good time.
