Things I enjoy: Music - My list is in my signature. Some of my favorite bands include Mansions, The Dear Hunter, Envy on the Coast, O'Brother, As Tall as Lions, Kevin Devine, Taking Back Sunday, The Killers, Manchester Orchestra, NK, Person L, Nghbrs, Muse, TREOS, Circa Survive, Kings of Leon, blink 182, Reggie and the Full Effect, Kay Kay and His Weathered Underground, and many more. Sports: I love sports especially hockey and football, more specifically the Broncos and the Red Wings. I play old man's league hockey as well. Other interests/hobbies: Television wise I like Seinfeld, Curb, Breaking Bad, Arrested Development, The Office, SVU, and South Park. I love coffee, beer, pizza, and calzones. I own music I like (my deadformat list is in my sig), and will most likely like any music that has any similarity to the music I like. Don't care for almost any type of metal or hip-hop, anything else goes. I don't buy them as often as I'd like, but I still strive to gather all my favorites at one point. At all. I don't have nearly enough t-shirts. I mostly wear black (size M), but my body can physically handle anything that's not white. Most of all, if my secret santa is from North America, or actually any non-european place with it's own specific food and beverages: I love food and beverages. I love snacks and I love sweets, especially if it's something I've never tried before. For example, bacon-related food is non-existent where I live. I hear stories of bagged bacon strips and bacon soda and bacon milk and bacon cough sirup and I cannot believe stuff like this actually exists. As far as candy goes, we get most of what Mars inc. and it's subsidiaries make, and that's pretty much it. I would love any American-specific food or beverage that I wouldn't be able to try unless I actually take a trip overseas. Same with Asian stuff. Or Australian. Or any other place that can say: "suck it europe, you're not tasting this, ever!" Actually, now that I think of it, I'd love anything country/culture specific. Currently listening to - defeater, touche amore, letlive, verse, modern life is war, glassjaw. Bands / labels I collect - dead by 23, Asian man, small Chicago punk labels, saves the day, gaslight anthem, alkaline trio, Lawrence arms, blacklisted. Booze is always a fun gift. I know it might be illegal but fuck it. Koozies and pint glass and shot glasses and flasks are cool with me. Large band sweatpants or gym shorts would be used regularly. Books. A bit of info for someone: I'm a graphic designer, working mostly on web stuff but have a strong background in print. Any sketchbook, marker, screenprinting or design related stuff. I also collect a lot of knick-knacks and shit for the bookshelf, so any cool little figures or things that might look cool on display work for me. I'm a big Bruins fans, and also play a shit ton of video games. Music wise it is a bit scattered, secret santa should have a partial list but I'd list some favorites as: Murder By Death, The Bronx, Queens of the Stone Age, Graveyard, Brown Bird, Dead Weather, Johnny Cash, Builders and the Butchers, Devil Makes Three, Mastodon, Doomriders. I'm also real big on Mariachi music. I'm a size L shirt and like to drink, mostly anything. My Discogs is the same as here, it isn't a complete list, but has everything I've bought over the past 1 1/2 or so. I'll post a link when I'm at a real computer. ozfacter Posted October 6, 2013 Share Posted October 6, 2013 copied from last year with edits... my name is andy and i live outside philadelphia. some of my favorite bands are the loved ones/dave hause, gaslight anthem, holy mess, unwritten law (old), bouncing souls, afi (old), mischief brew, alkaline trio, kid dynamite, strung out and the menzingers. im a huge fan of pop punk, raspy vocals, and "woahs". i love onyx's first album and similar rap from the early to mid 90's and also rock/alternative from the early/mid 90s as well.i will watch just about any movie, especially if john cusak is in it, but stupid comedies and movies that are so bad that they are good are my first choices.tv takes up my nights as i dont go out much anymore and im not to picky whats on since im usually sitting at my computer. some shows i dvr are sons of anarchy, how i met your mother, grimm, fringe, justified, the league, it always sunny, happy endings, community, and i can not wait until arrested development comes back.my drinks of choice when i do go out are miller high life or crown royal. but i work 6 nights a week so i usually just come home and drink arizona green tea.i dont read or watch sports. one of my favorite colors is pink, i love ewoks (who doesnt), i have 3 cats inside and another 4 6(strays) that have a little house built outside and i can waste a whole day watching cat videos on youtube. im in the process of quitting smoking. and i love getting tattooed. i think thats about it, at least im done talking about myself. hope that helps whoever my ss is.
