I'm not a fan of modern country, hippity hop, or this synthy-alt rock and skinny-jean pop-folk that the kids have been digging lately, but I'll give most anything else a whirl. I dig ambient/post-rock, and mid 90s emo quite a bit. Tradelist is in the signature; be sure to check out the wants tab. I'm always looking for Arkam Records, Quadrajets, or New Bomb Turks releases that I don't already have. Also looking for releases from mid-late 90s Columbus, Ohio rock bands. My wife would say I have too many t-shirts, but I disagree. Maybe I have too many black t-shirts. I usually wear an XL, but I'm a 2XL in the slim-fit American Apparel style shirts. I don't read nearly as much as I used to, but I still enjoy historical non-fiction. I don't watch much tv, and I already have pretty much all of the movies I'm interested in. billya Posted October 3, 2013 Share Posted October 3, 2013 I'm Billy (shocking, I know), I live right outside of Philadelphia. I'm a huge Philadelphia sports fan (mainly the Phillies) and I am a Georgia Bulldogs football fan. I have wanderlust and I love things from other places, so if there's anything small that sets your hometown apart, I am a nerd for such stuff. Music wise I like a lot of stuff, pretty much any jazz except smooth jazz, midwest 90's emo (and emo revival stuff), Brand New, Manchester Orchestra, stuff like that, Gaslight Anthem and all of those punk/folk/Springsteen-esque bands, I am also a big Drive Thru era pop punk fan, Jawbreaker, The Replacements, The Descendents, Pedro the Lion, yada yada yada, I generally have an open mind about stuff. I like movies, stuff like Wes Anderson, then pretty much anything with Michael Cera, Kat Dennings, etc. I read a lot, I generally like to keep an open mind about fiction stuff, as long as it isn't some sappy romance thing like those books you see in K-Mart. Lastly, I love art. I myself am not a visual artist, but I love different types of art. I have a ton of show prints and screen printed posters and stuff, I can never get enough. I have been digging sugar skulls and old school tattoo art lately. Vintage looking tattoo art and stuff, or really anything 40's-50's looking is right up my alley. So yeah, I am pretty much across the board. You don't have to worry too much about me, though almightyseancore was a pretty stellar secret santa last year.
