Just trying to get some response out of someone from your company since phone calls and emails obviously don't work. I'd like my package of in-stock stuff that I ordered a month ago to be shipped sometime soonish. I will be turning 30 pretty quickly and I'd like to listen to these before my hearing goes out.

The Repress Finally arrived, The Second Pressing will be available MONDAY 6/18 at NOON on the Enjoy The Ride Records Webstore. They will also be available on Equal Vision's Webstore sometime later on monday and Hot Topic should be putting up their copies sometime later next week as well. The "Cola Brown" will be available on the ETR/EVR Stores and are limited to 475 copies, The "Clear Sky Blue" Variant will be available exclusively at hot topic and are limited to 475 (both online and retail stores this time) and like last time 50 copies random split variants have been pressed and will be RANDOMLY MIXED into orders from ALL RETAILERS.

Geez how much does it take for some of you to stop giving them your business? Why would you order four, five times from somewhere that you continously have bad experiences with? That's like going to the same restaurant that gave you food poisoning four weeks in a row hoping it'll get better. What am I missing here?

Hello, I've recently started offering lathe cut records through http://www.LatheCuts.com. I can make them out of clear polycarbonate plastic squares, laserdiscs, picnic plates, mirrors, etc. My minimum is 20. These are intended to be playable art pieces. They do not sound as good as a pressed record, but are totally listenable. Somewhere between the romanticized click and pop of a dusty record to a light, but constant white noise hiss. If you are pressing a record with a pre-order and can't make your release date, send out an email letting people know that it is delayed BEFORE the release date, not three weeks saying it is going to be another month. Learn from MTS's mistakes. Thanks in advance /rant

Thursday - Doves for $80 after shipping and.... state taxes..... i actually had to pay the state taxes!! stupid ebay.

I did a pre-order once and go fucking figure a heat wave hit Texas and the plant I was pressing thru had to close down untill it cooled down enough for them to be able to operate again which took about 2 months it was horrible but luckily everyone was very understanding. Moral of the story pre-orders are dumb and should be avoided at all cost just wait till everyting is in had and put them up for sale. You can still hype/promote a record with out having a pre-oder.

This should really be the only option.

Yeah the obvious thing to do is start taking pre-orders when the record is at the pressing plant. OR....just wait and sell the damn thing when it's actually finished.

I have so many books it's stupid. I have eight floor to ceiling Borders bookshelves full of books. Mostly fiction and mostly hardcover. Just like first pressings, I'm a whore for the hardcovers. I'm an English teacher, so I can disguise my book hoarding as legitimate professional development.

I really don't care too much about a long wait when I do trades or sales from individuals, but imo, a distro the size of SRC shouldn't take 5 weeks plus to fill an order of in stock stuff. If its not in stock then create a backorder category. If its going to be delayed, the shoot me an email or respond to one of mine. It's not rocket science, just courtesy. It boils down to there are a ton of places that sell records, and nearly every one them handle things better than SRC.

jenna's always taken great care of me and all of their releases have turned out amazing. those mailers they use now do a great job of protecting records in transit and preventing corner dings--maybe its just me, but i tend to get more damaged records from HT and interpunk.

This seems silly. Not defending SRC but was the "bent to hell" jacket packed and shipped as such...or was it damaged in transit by the postal service? If the LP mailer...assuming it was sent in one...arrived damaged and thusly the jacket "bent to hell", then I don't see how that is SRC's fault. Blame the USPS and your mailman if the package got all jacked and records arrived all fucked up.

Got tickets for the Toronto date. Fucking expensive for a punk show, but it should still be fun. I just really wish NOFX don't make it into the country.

Have you ever tried to ship pure gold before?

I am not opposed to it but we'd have to put the cost of the extra 7" square in the shipping cost. This might be a pain, but you can choose to add .50 for an extra piece of cardboard when you checkout on the fat wreck site. I think I'd rather have that option. Mine seem to make it just fine most of the time. I just got six 7" from you and all were good...

Honestly I would rather quality releases and them fully on board instead of putting something out just to meet their quota. I have been happy with the releases so far, as some bands I was not familiar with, but I also am looking forward to future releases. I agree though that I would have much preferred different covers then the white vinyl and obi strips. I think the more limited nature, hand numbered, and special covers of last year were far better than this years.

Is there a specific way to find a list of them or are you just exploring random caves? I'm sure theres a list, but for me personally, I quite enjoy just finding random caves or ruins and going through them, not really knowing what to expect.

Yes! That's a good sign for vheissu, too. I like the vinyl artwork better than the CD for both these records, but Itll be cool having two different covers for each. I'm a sucker for green vinyl, too.
