PRINCE
Pretty big change on the vocal production, I agree on that, overall song structure is pretty good, still gonna hold off on a PO until we hear if there will be a tour press or not.. HybridxReality
speaking of Sunbather, i've been debating on selling off my variants, including my 1st press clear w/splatter /300 version. that thing still going for stupid money? I think a user on here sold it not long ago for around $75, so not too stupid.
HybridxReality
I love the new track. I am so stoked for this release.

Sad Heart
Bahaha what a pitchfork-esque review. "The drums swell and pound with the treble of a stormy sea and the shoreline is just out of a sight but you can feel its lingering presence as an invisible beacon of hope in the distance. This new Deafheaven track is embittered by the elements and transcends the uniformity of your every day metal band." Hahahahahahahaha. That had me laughing. It's like they typed a word and right-clicked thesaurus on all of it. Invisible beacon of hope? What the fuck does that even mean? How do you see hope? How do you see it if it's invisible? What. I'm still stoked for this album though, ridiculous review(s) or not.
jhulud
P4K reviewers are always try-hards. It's one of the many things I can't stand about the site and its writing.
Rip
Waiting till I have the record to listen to anything ff of this. Can't wait though.
arkin
Well, that song got me stoked. I've been on a record binge of late, so I'll probably hold off pre-ordering for now, but still... I'm thinking I'll have to pick it up eventually
Sad Heart
P4K reviewers are always try-hards. It's one of the many things I can't stand about the site and its writing. It's beyond ridiculous. Just say that the drum patterns are fucking sick, the bass line is gnarly, the vocals are melodically deadly as always, and we can't wait to hear more! Done. How hard is that. I don't need shit like "tremolo picked guitar leads that burn like hell fire" and shit like that. Don't write me a damn poem. Write me an honest, yet critical review without being such a try-hard. rickydenim
Man I got worried reading these comments but this track is great! My pre-order ain't going anywhere.
radiatorhums
Track reviews are asinine. Just go listen to the damn song and form your own opinion.
itsWetWilly
Track reviews are asinine. Just go listen to the damn song and form your own opinion. But don't share that opinion, because that would be "asinine."
davepriz
I've always had a hard time getting into Deafheaven. Never understood the hype but I do enjoy this track more then anything else I've ever heard but I would have to agree that the guitar solo tone is pretty bad as well as the transition to piano. However, what I can say is that since their existence people have argued over some element of them! Wether it's been what genre they are, the progression they've made album to album, or wether they worship satan, etc. And I think.... that means they are really really good. mizzle
Actually, the so called "lazy" fade-out-to-piano-jingle ending is just an artistic metaphor for the monotonous routine of adulthood. Also can't wait to buy the font bundle.
amnstypls
Vocals are crazy good.
Sad Heart
Pre ordered clear. Couldn't say no to not paying until it ships, free shipping, it'll get here faster than EU, and cause I ordered Clutch with it too. I'm pleased.

WAXXX
some people just don't "get it". the track builds the inertia necessary to transcend the thunderous verses and land on an inverse plain. a multiverse of fuchsia and violet surrenders to blackness.
