  7. Over a hundred releases are on sale in our webshop SALE section right now Orders over $100 still get free USA shipping visit our webstore at WWW.METEOR-GEM.COM
  8. I found a few shops in the 'Everthing else...' forum, but am wondering if there are any fresh recommendations from the last few years. I'm headed there in a couple weeks and would love to find some gems like I did in Japan last year. Mainly looking for rock (alt, classic, industrial), just hard to find gems that I'd have a hard time finding in the US. Thanks in advance, much appreciated.
  9. My copy of home and Minor showed up from Amazon today. Not sure how these got a wider release, but I’m not complaining! Haven’t had a chance to spin it yet but have heard really good things about the pressing and mastering so far.
  10. I'm bumping this thread as i'm going to Paris in a couple of weeks. Outside of the record stores already mentioned in this thread, any other musts? I'm also going to Nice, if any recommendations there as well. Much appreciated. Mostly looking for classic rock, alt, hard to find shit. (Floyd, GD, Nick Cave, PJ Harvey, Radiohead, Neil Young, M Lanegan, etc).
  11. I haven't, but in my mind I've imagined building from scratch and running wires behind drywall, noise insulation, dedicated headphone listening station, and on and on.
  12. I think so but this seems longer. I can't say for sure I haven't watched it more than the one time when I first got it at initial release
  13. My partner and I have just moved into a new house which has an old garage we are doing up which will be both a working from home space but more importantly will act as my vinyl lounge. Work started on it this week and it’s due to be finished in July. The builder doing it for us is an old muso himself so he’s as excited as we are about the project. I just wanted to ask if anyone here has done anything similar and what advice you’d have in realising the dream vinyl retreat? Many thanks, P.

  15. That's what it costs lol. To send a 12 oz package from the US to Canada it cost $24.80. https://postcalc.usps.com/Calculator/MailServices?country=10054&ccode=CA&omil=False&dmil=False&retail=False&mdt=5%2F3%2F2024&mdz=23%3A59&m=6&dvi=%24 30&hscode=False&o=12 Plus mailing supplies. Plus somebody's wage to pack it up. Don't blame Deathwish blame the USPS/the economy. What ergs me is labels charging $20 bucks to send 3 LPS via media mail to a US address when it costs less than $5 bucks. I bought those ETID represses and it was ridiculous.
  16. I don’t know if it’s the same for everyone, but in the past, the estimated arrival date on Mail Innovations has always ended up being the day my package arrived at the local post office, not the day it arrives at my door—usually, it’s the day after. But I have also had the ping-pong thing where it ends up moving away from me before actually arriving.
  17. 10C need to fuckin’ stop using Mail Innovations. I live in West Palm Beach, FL. My Dark Matter LP has gone: Fife, WA > Seattle, WA > Fife, WA > Orlando, FL > Jacksonville, WA > Carolina, PR (PUERTO RICO!!!)… And tracking says it’s supposed to arrive today by 7pm. It’s almost 8pm FUUUUUUUUUCK!!!!
  18. It’s a shame, companies are charging more, not sure the actual cost on shipping to Canada fwiw, and are just arbitrarily doubling the price of shipping now.
  19. As expected, the songs just destroyed me. I fuckin' cried as I related to both songs and how McTiernan delivers the lyrics just slayed me. Oof. Since their first release it's been just feels and emotions to a heavy sound. And that's what made me fall in love with hardcore to begin with way back in the day.
