33LPS
Hello, we have put up a kickstarter for the LP Polisher, a device that can effectively polish Vinyl Records. We figured you guys might be interested, so we decided to post it here. Satan
Dude. Listen. You provide absolutely ZERO list of ingredients in your "powder". Is it coke? Is that why this is so damn expensive? After watching the video and having zero idea what is actually cleaning the record, or the process... "You just move this thing up and down and voila" is essentially what you're saying. Zero explanation. I'll just assume because your price point and lack of information - you won't be funded. monsterrod and ok. 1
Satan
$300 to ONLY clean 7's! $400 for the big guys. And $500 at regular price. But the "powder" is only $10. *talks to mark cuban* We're out. monsterrod, mmhmm, V3XED and 1 other 1

The powder is completely different to what's on the machine. We just threw it in as a reward for people who don't want to pay the 500$ for the actual machine but still want to fund the project. The actual device has a brush that's attached to the base that polishes the record.
Derek™
Alright, I’m in. But I want 10% equity, and 18 months for repayment at 20% interest. Take it or leave it. Tommy and V3XED 1

Plarocks
Records don’t need to be “polished,” just cleaned. VPI and Hannl have that market cornered. However, there is this CD polishing machine that is built inside of old PC cabinets, that does wonders with scratched up CDs. Sound Garden has one. 😃 Edited August 10, 2019 by Plarocks

[Banned User]
Sadly not as effecient as throwing a couple LP’s in the sink after dinner to wash while cleaning dirty dishes.
rooks
Only $9,999 to go guys, we are SO close! Thank you all for donating so far, and thank you for believing in polishing your records so they're shiny! Tell your friends!
Satan
If this guy was packaging coke as the powder and smuggling this shit as a cleaner... He'd be a genius. Edited August 10, 2019 by Satan
JRHews
Thanks for showing me the digital model for this. Now I can build one myself for 30 bucks instead of spending 300. 🍻
TheGhostOfRandySavage
"Records are fragile and can be damaged by dust" followed up in the Kickstarter with, "Hey dickheads, throw a bunch of powder on your records then run this brush over them. Lulz." Also, "Removes small scratches completely." Booooooo. Liar. You can't just "remove a scratch." You're either taking mass away from the surrounding area, bad, or adding something to fill it in, possibly worse. Explain or get the fuck outta here, brother. kylet
Standard brush, readily available at most record shops for $10-$15 bucks. Turn in vertically, charge $499? You're on to something. OneThreeOneTwo
