bluedeni
Had a Goonies in my cart a few seconds before the announcement and after I hit pay on the PayPal site I lost it and never got it back. This hobby really isn't that fun anymore with all these people buying things to flip. Oh well, plenty of other things to spend money on. Twistedshabazz
They either make one themselves or pay someone to make a script for them. I've never even bothered to take it to that level (there's enough great shit out there that you don't NEED TO HAVE EVERYTHING u want) but I've heard it's not rocket science if you have a basic understanding of what you're doing. There are plenty of websites with computer geeks from India that will charge you $5 an hour to build you one if you're desperate to be a part of that crowd of goons. Nobody is actually gonna publicly share their bot software or whatever, that would be stupid. No i wouldnt expect those people to. I have three "mondo" prints and i still need to frame two of them. Its super expensive to buy them and display them like that so i dont bother to buy stuff inwont take that step for. Plus wall space is a premium. My wife doesnt every wall covered in that stuff. This stput was going to be a birthday gift for a very good friend but what can you do. He would kick my ass if i spent after market prices on it for him. It is quite surprising mondo hasnt put in protection to stop bots like other sites have. If discogs can have one for checking prices on past sold items which really doesnt need that mondo can do one for an area that actually needs it. timsimmons
Bots absolutely ruining the print market. Nobody wants to have no shot at something on the onsale only to have to pay 5x the price for it on eBay. They just give up the hobby entirely. The print hobby has become a shell of its former self. Talk about a bubble that's going to burst.
natenomm
On a completely unrelated note, are there any Mondo releases for Record Store Day Black Friday?

billya
I was unable to find any USA Today copies today, not even one for myself. I asked my parents to check in my hometown and my father tried maybe 10 places and was unable to grab any. Sorry, international folks! I hope that other people were able to help you all out. Kudos to KingTacoMunster for helping people!
DecayToDeath
I went to two stores and they didn't have any, so I stopped in Panera and they had one left behind the counter, and this was roughly an hour ago.
spoon
I went to 6 stores, even had a copy held for me that turned out to be a USA Today Sports Weekly before I caved and paid $8 online for the paper.
Desk Cop
Bullshit about bots. I checked out my Batman poster and there were still about 140 left for each after I checked my mail and this forum. Could have easily grabbed Goonies also. I have never missed anything I wanted that sold out in minutes. F5 is your biggest friend at Mondo drops. USE IT! I'm drunk I agree with the F5 but I call bullshit on easily grabbing a Stout. I mean, there's such a nerd boner for him that the flipapalooza makes catching the refresh on a cart drop rough without a mega fast connection. achillesstand7
I tried checking out on that Goonies print for about 20 minutes with no luck. I was at work and couldn't just sit there on the internet forever. Hopefully I'll someday be able to get a Stout print. Maybe I'll have better luck with the Stout lottery. nathan_s82
Just got my Bizarro Superman in, and there are two seam splits from where the record pushed through, anybody else have this issue? I had the same issue with the Batman 12"
bobby
pulled the trigger on all three individual BTTF soundtracks, the splatter kinda sucks, but that artwork made my mind up from the off.

steeltoeagogo
I see they're pushing the sweaters on the front page now. I would totally be in for a Jason one if it went on sale. Doubt it will though
timbrh2001
Talk about a bubble that's going to burst. I can see those who like things simply because they're worth more money than they paid for it kinda leaving the hobby these days. I've met some good peeps in the hobby through Aaron Horkey and Jay Ryan's artwork. Those 2 artists kinda have a niche community of diehard collectors that I've grown to enjoy being a part of. Many of em don't care about the aftermarket value and just truly enjoy what these guys put out.
