STÖNCÜLD
So I haven't participated in a record store day before. It wasn't around when I was collecting years ago, so I want to find out how do I get a certain release at my local shop? Do I need to call and pre-order it, or at least make sure the release is on their list of stock that they are ordering? I want to get my hands on that Willie Nelson Teatro really bad. kannibal
7" prices are absurd. I look at the list and wonder who buys some of this crap. Then I read this thread and the question is answered. Breezus and TheGhostOfRandySavage

Call/visit your shop. Tell them you are interested in the release. There is no guarantee they will get it but maybe they can tell you if they ordered it, or will try to order it. BuzzersonKillwell
Generally speaking you wait in line and it is first come, first serve. How early you have to wait depends on where you are. You'd probably want to pose your questions to your local store. Before you call them though, check Facebook or their website closer to RSD. Often they'll post any unique policies they have an you can avoid being the 431st person to call the store with the same questions.
