Déjà [vu] is pretty much a given, but I guess "the E word" has never come up outside of my fellow Brand New friends. Maybe we're all pronouncing it incorrectly. It's very difficult for me to explain how to pronounce it phonetically because English doesn't have the right sounds for "dé" "en" "ten" and "du". Deja would be closest to des-zsa (As in zsa zsa Gabor). Entendu is tricky because "en", "ten" and "du" are pronounced differently in French. But "du" is not pronounced "dew" - it's closer to "dzue". "En" is like "on" but don't drag the n sound. And "ten" sounds like the French word "temps". But, I can tell you for certain that it is not Day-Juh On-Tonn-Dew.
