Brock N Roll
How much was the Nicktoons record at HT? I'm assuming 30ish after shipping? The fact that people pay 30 bucks for something so incredibly dumb and then play it on a crosley is so fucking funny. danionly

It's probably 24.50 before shipping since Ross made a deal to match Hot Topics prices

Shitty Rambo
Saturday morning nostalgia. Weren't Nicktoons aired in the afternoon and evening? I distinctly remember seeing new episodes during Nick in the Afternoon and in the evening around dinner time.

just a normal guy kevin
They were definitely not in the morning. I slept in notoriously and missed all network Saturday morning cartoons but managed to watch Rugrats etc. religiously.
aflycon
One of the HT stores by me constantly blares death metal. If I went in asking about Motion City Soundtrack, they probably wouldn't have a clue. Mine plays a lot of Descendents. When I bought some Millencolin LPs there, I spoke to the guy behind the counter about Somery (which was playing at the time). He said, "We've got it in stock, you should get it," and I said, "Joke's on you, I already have it." Then we did the hand-pistols thing and I left. It was fucking cool. funtitled
vinyl addict
That is a Crosley for sure (no surprise as the owner is playing a shitty release from a shitty company headed by a shitty person). Haha it def looks very "Crosleyesque". I wouldnt put my worst record on that thing.

aflycon
Anyone know which sublime? The s/t is readily available. I believe 40oz was cancelled (I have the cranberry press). Robbin' the Hood? It's both Robbin' the Hood and 40oz to Freedom. The independent pressing of 40oz (apparently with the original track listing) was the one that was cancelled, more than likely by the Nowell estate. Since Travis' work is totally separate, the Hot Topic press is still going. jamesp21 and vinyl addict

I still hate myself for sleeping-in and missing the Crash Test Dummies animated special in like 3rd grade. I wonder if I can hunt it down online. I distinctly remember seeing new episodes during Nick in the Afternoon and in the evening around dinner time. You might be right. I think I'd watch the new ones on the East coast station in the afternoon, or at least earlier than the West coast one. So hey, I was only off by a few hours... Saturday afternoon nostalgia! Freak I don't know, but those were Nick's better show days. Plus some of the early 2000 stuff (imo).

throughbeingcruel
At least you aren't Boxcutter Vinyl Girl I don't have nickname at my HT, but a couple of the girls just walk to the back and get my order as soon as I walk in, without asking. They have a decent grasp on the vinyl thing, I'm sure at least one collects. They're all super nice, and definitely the prettiest girls I've seen working there since I was in high school. Since I'm freshly single, I've been sending a lot more orders to the store haha. mssskat184 and RowBearToe
firehazardrecords
The manager at my HT collects vinyl and is a pretty cool guy, so I've been lucky enough to avoid most problems!
