Holy shit latterman ruled!!!!!! And the company was most excellent. Marc had a drunk woman in a thong basically shove her ass in his face and ask if it was rated high. All we could all do was give our fonzy seal of approval "ayyyyy" with a double thumbs up. I think marc had a half chub. (sarcasm) I could b wrong though.

CONVERGE - All We Love We Leave Behind

Are they selling the Deluxe CD on tour?

  28. They aren't selling them in order. First night I got #42 of 52 weeks and they had maybe 10 posters in the booth from 141 to 150 something. They asked if I had a poster number preference. They're just pulling random stuff. Don't worry, pretty sure posters will be available. Maybe even the vinyl. That's a tough call though with the $60 price tag.

  29. Yeah I got one for myself that was 93/99 and then one for my friend that was 20/99, so they aren't in any sort of order.

I'm covered on the Fat Comp now gang. Since I posted this earlier I got some of the worst news one can face. The kindnesses of my VC Friends, though we are mostly strangers, have helped me crack a little smile. Thanks for being decent Gents, you never know when simple acts can pick someone up on a bad day.

  34. Just wanted to make sure this gets put out there to those who want to watch. Although the debate starts off clunky, Larry King is Moderating and he seems a bit more crazy than usual. http://www.c-span.org/Events/Third-Party-Presidential-Debate/10737435220-1/ I know a few people mentioned Gay/Lesbian rights as hotbutton issues for them so I wanted to just make sure and point this out. When asked the hypothetical question of if you could add 1 amendment to the constitution what would it be, his response was to change the Equal Rights amendment to be inclusive of the LGBT community. If your interested in just that go to an hour and nine minutes in. I've got to admit that Rocky Anderson came off great during the debate. He and Gary Johnson were the stars of the show.

  36. Funny because I dont have cable, never been to the fox website for news, and dont even support Romney or any republican. Liberals and the right are just as bad as the other side.

  37. I'm not calling you out just referencing your post to give my two cents on the issue. Obamacare is actually one of the things that infuriates me about the Obama Presidency. To back up and be fair, I was a volunteer on Nader campaigns in the past, and it would take a truly special Democrat to get me to support him. Only Dem I have actually voted for in a semi major campaign is Russ Feingold. So with that being said Obamacare doesn't change the system, yes it does make minor improvements to a flawed system. That is not something I would be willing or even able to debate, however it still leaves the system in place. http://www.commonwealthfund.org/Publications/Fund-Reports/2010/Jun/Mirror-Mirror-Update.aspx While a rating system for quality of healthcare is never going to be a foolproof system, this is just another of many studies where the US ranks at or near the bottom. With Obama's changes the US still has a fundamentally flawed system. His changes won't change the terrible, terrible system. Now if and when US citizens start trying to bring up the idea of Universal Healthcare the Right is going to be able to point to studies like the one linked earlier and shout that this is what Obamacare brought us, the US has the worst healthcare coverage. granted I don't have a crystal ball, and perhaps the US will slightly crawl up the rankings, but the right doesn't have qualms about bending the truth. My fear has been that Obamacare, will end up delaying a potential change to a Universal Healthcare System. A bit of an aside, but this does go along with healthcare. I work at a company where the owners are big time Rightwingers. As an example when I went to the Introduction meeting the owners son was talking about how his politics fall to the "right of Ghangis Khan." Thats just a humorous aside, but recently they've been sending out messages talking about how the Obamacare is going causes dramatic changes to our Health coverage. Recently it came out that Deductables were going to almost triple and premiums are going up $40 a month for singles and more for families but I can't remember the numbers. When they started out with internal messages about the Obamacare stuff, I was expecting this. Perhaps the changes were necessary, but perhaps they are using this as a way to get people to try and hate Obamacare. The wealthy on the right definitely try to throw their weight around and almost try to hold the country blackmail at times. http://www.politicususa.com/audio-reveals-mitt-romney-employer-layoff-threats-obama-wins.html Fundamentally though, Obama is a mediocre president. Romney on the otherhand has shown that he would make an atrocious President. In fact I've played around with the idea of voting for Obama on the lesser of two evils mentality but there is no possible way I can vote for someone who doesn't accurately represent my ideology. Rocky Anderson is my vote the right choice for me this year. I typically try and stay out of internet debates about politics because I lack the ability to get my thoughts down in a marginally readable manner.

  39. I never said Romney would be better for the LGBT at all, I just said he has a backbone and doesnt pander as shamefully as Obama does. We can get someone like Obama who will do jack shit for the country like he did the first four years (after he promised the first time that he wouldnt run again if he didnt turn things around) or you can go and vote for a third party person who would actually bring along hope and change. Yes Romney flip flops, I never said he didnt, I said he has a backbone and will stand behind his belief. Romney went through a drastic overhall in the late 90s early 00's of his beliefs. Obama just makes promises that he has no intention of keeping.

  40. Well I have been following Obama for more than the past 6 months like you guys apparently, you might wanna know your facts besides just spouting the typical liberal rhetoric. “I believe that marriage is the union between a man and a woman. Now, for me as a Christian — for me — for me as a Christian, it is also a sacred union. God’s in the mix.” - April 17, 2008, while running for president, defining marriage at the Saddleback Presidential Forum. “I believe marriage is between a man and a woman. I am not in favor of gay marriage. But when you start playing around with constitutions, just to prohibit somebody who cares about another person, it just seems to me that’s not what America’s about.” - Nov. 2, 2008, while running for president, in an interview with MTV. “I’ve called on Congress to repeal the so-called Defense of Marriage Act to help end discrimination against same-sex couples in this country. Now, I want to add we have a duty to uphold existing law, but I believe we must do so in a way that does not exacerbate old divides. And fulfilling this duty in upholding the la w in no way lessens my commitment to reversing this law. I’ve made that clear.” - June 29, 2009, as president, at an LGBT Pride Month reception. “I have been to this point unwilling to sign on to same-sex marriage primarily because of my understandings of the traditional definitions of marriage. But I also think you’re right that attitudes evolve, including mine.” - Oct. 27, 2010, as president, in an interview with a group of liberal bloggers. It also goes back to him running for local offices in Chicago too, talks about it in his book, and it is obvious he is saying rhetoric to get votes from the gay community and supporters while not actually believing in what he is saying. Fucking liberals are just as bad as the conservatives, just swallow whatever they are told without actually doing research or thinking. This country is fucked either way.
