Cleopatra bought kung fu after joe retired

Mine also showed up yesterday and I was super confused when it came. It said that it was from Cleopatra Records, it was oddly shaped... which turned out to be because in a mailer inside of another mailer, and it was double wrapped in bubble sheet... I was impressed in the same way that I get impressed by people who squeegee the tub after showering.

Be careful using the pouch. There is a guy on You Tube that ruined his red Blade Runner soundtrack by leaving it in the pouch too long. 😱 Might be better off just leaving the record in the Vinyl Flat for around 6 months at room temperature, and then just take a look at it.

Legitimate LOL if you think records cost $17.99 in 1999. I’ll pay $20 for a single LP and feel okay about it. I’ll pay $25 if it’s a double LP or something I absolutely must own. But man, I just can’t drop $30 plus shipping for a CD-sourced reissue. I’ll stick with my OG. Maybe the Wolf will go on sale someday.

"Drama". I'd say trying to have your wife killed is a little worse than "drama". Fuck Tim, fuck this band, and fuck anyone who gives them money.

I'll obviously give this record a listen, but I've been more than unimpressed with their last few, and consider them one of the many mediocre acts in post-rock. Too much electronics/math for my tastes.

You have to actually listen to them to know whether or not you like them.

It will be in pop market or Insound in a few months after release for like 150 and people will buy it thinking it is a huge bargain
