I really enjoyed this one. Gotta pick it up. I appreciate that these guys have maintained being a damn solid band for so long. With the exception of Damage being just alright in my opinion, these guys don't have a record that isn't good.

Listening to this today and the song writing is awful. His lyrics are so cringy..what happened with him and Underoath? Money is a hell of a motivator I guess.

I thought it was because there are zero Bless the Martyr-era members still in the band and they felt weird about it. That's what I remember reading, anyway. They repressed O God the Aftermath and it wasn't super expensive.

I cant even listen to the new stuff at this point. I really don't mind the stream of consciousness style. I love the Desersthore/Perils from the Sea/Benji era probably the most. The problem is he no longer even pretends to sing. Its just talking over jazz music at this point. I feel like he should be wearing a beret and smoking a cigarette

Sad that he went from selling hundreds of albums in minutes to where he is now. That new album, limited to 300 copies has been available through Rough Trade for 2+ months. I recently sold most of my collection post ATL with a couple exceptions for the same reasons jonrawks mentions.

Such a great underrated album. I bought the OG used for $9.99 years ago but this reissue is tempting.

TL;DW? Here's 40mins condensed into a handy list: 1) clean your Thin Lizzy LP using a brush or windex 2) hook your turntable's audio prongs up to a soundcard (ground to pre-amp/paper clip if your turntable is ancient) 3) download audacity and change audio preferences to use said soundcard. 4) slap record in audacity and play your record. Don't forget to flip it. Make sure to walk really heaviliy nearby. (Optional step: add "vinyl noise" SFX onto recording for extra authenticity then use EQ to crank the treble) 5) export recording to a high quality 128kbps MP3 and put it on your Zune. I'll do another 40 minute tutorial soon on how to put this MP3 on your Zune.
