Instantly bought this when I saw it pop up on Reddit. Such a fantastic underrated album. I never thought this would get an official pressing.

As far as I know Chiodos did not have one. Discogs shows about 2500 pressed in Sept/Oct, not including the pink for breast cancer awareness. The open preorder was something apparently that TFOT said they wanted to do. Unsure if that will actually be reality though.

I know many of the delays are beyond the control of Smartpunk, but could the communication possibly have been worse through this whole thing? Every email says “everything should be here this week” or “the last piece has shipped” until the next “update” says something completely contradictory. I know I will be happy I ordered when this arrives, but from the beginning when the initial pressing numbers went missing from the site and limited variants became unlimited, this whole thing has been a debacle. Sorry, rant over. And I know it can be worse, I lost money too during the whole TOYPAJ MTS ordeal, I just feel this could have been handled more professionally when a significant amount of people have funded this pressing with a not insignificant amount of money.

They NEED to press the Long Pond sessions. Its just too fucking good. Some tracks are better than the album counterparts.

That should be the norm. I’m tired of limited run crap. Trying to race to get your order through, setting alarms, crossing your fingers, hoping you have a moment free at work, etc.

By the time the site finally went up to process orders, I was already at work. .. so yeah, no chance lol .. can’t remember the last time a whole store front and e-commerce fully crashed because of a preorder of 1k run of records. Will keep an eye out for the new variants in a few weeks and hope for the best.

Yah, seems like someone put "remastered" on the 2nd press on Discogs, even though it's the 3rd press for the 10yr anniversary that is remastered. That mistake was throwing us both off. Haha. I'm gonna spin it later to compare to the comp. version and the 3rd version. I wish I could see them in a spectrum viewer to test. It's all very curious. I fixed it on Discogs. Looks like the “remastered” tag was added 2 years ago for some reason.
