Just trying to get some response out of someone from your company since phone calls and emails obviously don't work. I'd like my package of in-stock stuff that I ordered a month ago to be shipped sometime soonish. I will be turning 30 pretty quickly and I'd like to listen to these before my hearing goes out.

Yeah it seemed silly without knowing the full facts...if you had posted originally that it was a "single lp.huge mailer with no extra cardboard etc", then it wouldn't have been silly to hear your complaint and reason for not ordering from them again. It's a long, long, long shot, but it would be pretty sweet if Drew Stafford used his influence as Zach Parise's close friend and best man to lure him toward the Sabres, then the Sabres trade Roy for anything they can get and somehow find another center and boom! We'll be less shitty than this year's disappointment.

I have so many books it's stupid. I have eight floor to ceiling Borders bookshelves full of books. Mostly fiction and mostly hardcover. Just like first pressings, I'm a whore for the hardcovers. I'm an English teacher, so I can disguise my book hoarding as legitimate professional development.

I've ordered about thirty records from them this year, they take a while to ship, and in the end I didn't end up receiving about 3-4 of them. But Jenna and Danny have always responded to me and they've always been super friendly. They've issued me store credit for the records that were out of stock and besides the 3-4 I couldn't get, every other record I've ordered I've received. Packaged nicely, also. No doubt they take forever, usually on big orders. But so long as I get what I order, no biggie. That's just me though. I understand waiting a couple of months for some records is a huge turn-off to most everyone though. I imagine a lot of the emails they don't respond to are from assholes. Look at their facebook wall, people are fucking rude.

But really, I tend to not buy very many new records, so unless it's a band I'm crazy about, I never pay attention to PO's which is why I don't personally post up very many. That said, anyone is welcome to come over and post up PO's or anything else for that matter about vinyl as they please. For the few of us who are over there, the tastes tend to diverge a good bit from here i.e. not big fans of Thrice or Blink for the most part and so on. The N&B label, even, specializes in 'weirdo' music (our first 45 is coming in late July with the second and third dropping in late August and September respectively). Because we're MUCH smaller, things are more tight knit and everyone are pretty good friends - as a result of it seeming slow over there, lots of folks will sign on and not post if they don't find something that interests them, then as here and any other message board, the strength of a place is dependent on its members holding it up.

I can't believe that I haven't ever visited the NFL thread! I cannot wait to post in here during football season! I'm a Lions fan, been a Lions fan all my life. Hoping that some of our young guys can stop being retarded (Leshoure, Fairley) cause we've got a lot of fire power on the offensive side of the ball. Still need a lot of secondary help though. Also, Big Ben shouldn't have been ranked higher than Eli, Cam, or Stafford. Were talking about the Super Bowl MVP, a guy who threw over 5000 yards and 40+ td's, and one of the most electrifying rookie QB's we've ever seen. It's just silly.

Notes and Bolts message board... they're great people but don't bother if you are looking for vinyl release info... not a lot of action in that respect. but still nice people and you might wanna go there. A very "Cheers"-like atmosphere.

For haters of the blue: one of the mods posted a few days back that you can click on "change theme" at the bottom of the page and choose the color blind option and it turns it grey. Not that it changes the different formatting. And yes, it does seem much slower since the switch.

For anyone having trouble reaching the label, try replying to your order confirmation. I sent an email using the website's form and got no response. Then I looked at the confirmation and it said to reply with any questions. I replied and got a response within a few days and my album shipped a few days after that.

I really hope they clear a lot of the side stories up, but I doubt they'll get to everything. Man, this shits going to be insane.

Yes! That's a good sign for vheissu, too. I like the vinyl artwork better than the CD for both these records, but Itll be cool having two different covers for each. I'm a sucker for green vinyl, too.

jenna's always taken great care of me and all of their releases have turned out amazing. those mailers they use now do a great job of protecting records in transit and preventing corner dings--maybe its just me, but i tend to get more damaged records from HT and interpunk.

This is out this summer from Mondo but is delayed for good reason... they'll be pressing a healthy number of them and they'll actually make it into stores. Apparently they're just finalizing distribution details which has held things up. Also a great Italian horror film score out reeeal soon that I won't make a post for cuz prolly only about 0.009% of the board might care. But I know I'll certainly be getting it!
