Oh, yeah. I get what you're saying. When the records become part of a 'lifestyle prop' more than anything else. I can't think of what record pictures I like seeing the most actually. Maybe collections, or nice setups. I can't even be sure myself.

In an interview with the Edge 102.1 in Toronto, George and Dallas mentioned that there are no plans for an album or EP at this time - just the few shows in the summer. But they do say that there are a few songs in the works, and that there's a possibility of them just "dripping" singles out once in a while like Drake. They seem like they're happy with the freedom that streaming platforms provide artists nowadays. And Dallas talks about how he has the keys to a recording space so they just go and jam/write whenever they feel like it.

I feel the same way about the Homelife record. Most slept-on record BN has ever put out in my opinion. I hope people figure out their error when they get it in one of those bundles. I wish I didn’t already own every BN release I’ve ever wanted or I’d be all over this. R.I.P. Banquets.

Just thought of a fun game. I dunno who else loves going down You Tube rabbit holes to watch live performances but I thought it would be cool to post some of your favs if you have one. I’ve always been a sucker for this song. Just bummed they didn’t play this when I saw them a few years back.

Still gotta dig into the new Seeress. I'm feeling a bit glum so I'm cranking death metal today haha. Speaking of bands that changed style, have you guys heard the new Latitudes song? I didn't like their last album at all, but this new song is really interesting. My friend said it sounds like The Ocean (i don't listen to them). I also listened to Geneva yesterday. That album has some moments. I dug parts of the title track, and Philos. Surprise surprise, my favorite moments were the major-key post-rock parts haha. Although when Geneva hops into that Slayer-style triplet groove... I was rocking.

I did a quick search and did not see that these guys were brought up anywhere on VC. I was under the impression they were a lot more well known than they are. Certainly, some of you have probably heard this? Maybe I am just the only one who likes it?
