  1. Had to pull these out to check if I had a specific variant so figured I'd snap a quick family pic. I need to do this with all of my BR collection when I have time.

  4. We are extremely pleased to announce the physical release of our new EP titled "Harag/Inspiration/Home". After months of hand assembling, we succeeded to finish an ultra limited, awesome wooden boxset that we are very proud of. The product is totally DIY and required an enourmous amount of working hours, and the result speaks for itself. http://anchorlessbodies.bigcartel.com/ Pre order starts starts at 20th of February noon CET. Everyone who orders until end of February (or until the stock lasts) is entering a contest to receive a copy of our long-sold out first EP The Remedy Process on one sided clear 8" lathe cut with real feathers on side B. BOOM! You can check out the first official music video from the EP below, it is our first and only song written in Hungarian:

no, i don't, actually. between everything i've seen from the mondo thread, your FS/eBay/Discogs excursions, and the ETR thread, i thought it was public knowledge that you gouge your peers for rare releases. that's been the foundation of why people don't take too kindly to your posts around here. from there, pile on the fact that you support a label where the owner has been known to gouge and manipulate their customers to pad their wallet and stack up their personal record collection, and baby, you've got a stew going!

  17. ^^^truth. the only reason any release has less than 24 is if the label he was licensing from refused to sign off on soooo many tests. and that was pretty rare. their proofreader....she already quit a long time ago. it's all gone to the doigs since.

  29. Do your research before spending the money. Many 'tables have many issues including vibrations, hum (pro-ject) along with other issues. Not trying to deter anyone, just making it clear. Research. Research. Research.

There is a huge difference between opening a pack of cards and getting a duplicate, and ordering 2 copies of the same record to flip one.

  31. yeah but... everybody has bills and everybody has to budget their hobbies. i work full time, but i also work a second job as a photographer which is very physical and very time consuming. most people who need extra funds get a second job. you're not the first person to have a baby. selling your records isn't the problem, and the fact that you don't hide it isn't the problem (i dont understand why this is always brought up). its the marking it up so you don't have to do anything else to make money that's the problem. you're taking part in making the hobby a business which isn't cool. regardless of you growing up in a card shop. i used to collect cards too and i'm not trying to make a 200% profit on my rare records and i don't buy more than 1 with intent to sell at a higher price. your excuses are the worst call for first world problems i think ive ever seen

    post your set-up thread

New here, and really new to vinyl. I'm a movie buff mainly, but decided to try out vinyl. I've built my first rig into my smaller Man Cave 5.1 surround system. (The big stuff is in the Living room.) Humble newb rig: Spinnin' the new Chvrches album I picked up at a recent concert that I took my Nephew to: Better view of the set-up. Spinnin' The Killers - Battle Born - 45speed 2LP limited edition: 1. Current details: Music Hall mmf-2.2 Turntable with MH Tracker cartridge Music Hall acrylic platter Cambridge 551p pre-amp Pro-Ject speed box Rek-O-Kut disk stabilizer SpinClean for the housekeeping 2. That feeds to a new Sony 7.2 Receiver 3. Which powers some Klipsch Icon KB-15 bookshelf speakers ...I know the rig is only as good as the weakest link. My guess is that it's the Sony receiver and Klipsch speakers. I would love some suggestions. I'm eye-balling some Rosewood Wharfedale Diamond 10.1 speakers. Cheers!
