Sheddin some truth

Thanks for sharing this. Was actually talking to some friends about how this service is a rip off and this video just brings to light more and more evidence. I was not aware that they were sharing pictures of new releases on their social media accounts like the video mentioned. As if the whole thing wasn't misleading enough before.

Also, the more and more I look into it, the more and more it seems like this whole thing was just a front to get funding for that "hip" Venice Beach store.

"The beauty of VNYL is that tomorrow we can change our service to a vintage toaster club, TSTR. Or start shipping old Dell printers from the 90s, PRNTR. Or live birds, BRDS. And our brand quality would never change. We had a video editor make some content for us, a short 3D Vimeo-hosted film about vinyl, and we got the bassist from Surfer Blood to do an interview for our Medium site- a great piece of content. And tomorrow we debut our newest and best piece of content: a 15 minute short film about a group of twenty-something actors in Venice exploring the neighborhood, finding the #vibes that exist in their own backyard, and eventually ending up at an abandoned dance hall by the shore (the one from the movie the Wrestler) where they encounter a small table with a turntable on it. It's called WEVNYL and it's directed by Harmony Korrin's roommate in college."
